  1. Arizona 2019 Si Parts pile SOLD!!

Just sold it all off, had someone come pick it up today.
  2. Arizona 2019 Si Parts pile SOLD!!

Alright, so I sold my '19 Si and I have a pile of parts here, some of which are brand new in the bag/box unopened, and the rest of which have well under 10,000 miles on them. For $200, what's the catch? You gotta take ALL of it. No "hold this for me bro" no "ship that for me," I live just a...
  3. AZ Members Roll Call

What's the rules (if any) about listing something for sale as local pickup only for AZ people? Have a Seibon Grille and Agency Power Intercooler (1.5) that I am wanting to part ways with, need them out of my living room quick and will let both go for a ridiculous price in the interest of...
  4. Would it be bad to put a rear window roof visor spoiler?

Hey I just noticed that trunk spoiler extension, which one is it? It's definitely not BMSpec and I just looked on the Perrin website thinking maybe the answer was obvious... :hmm:
  5. Would it be bad to put a rear window roof visor spoiler?

Aerodynamically speaking roof spoilers are not all that great, you don’t want flow separating up high like that. It’s really just adding extra drag for no good reason because the air leaves the shape of the car too early and too high. What would benefit aero is vortex generators (think...
  6. 1.5T Has anyone noticed the hood's air guide doesn't line up with the OEM intake?

Have they released any pictures of the 1.5t version? I've seen plenty of the FK8 edition but scarce on the 1.5... to the point where I didn't even know they were making one. Maybe they've already done what we're splitting and speculating about!
  7. 1.5T Has anyone noticed the hood's air guide doesn't line up with the OEM intake?

Considering names like AEM, K&N, Mishimoto, and Injen sank probably a few CTR sticker prices' worth of $$$ into R&D and still couldn't top the stock CTR airbox, I don't think the idea that the 1.5's stock airbox could be made into a top contender is all that outrageous... But to an extent yeah...
  8. 1.5T Has anyone noticed the hood's air guide doesn't line up with the OEM intake?

I think @kalvin126 is confused with the Type R intakes where it was found that the stock beats any aftermarket on both low and high end power: With that said though, the CTR has a completely different intake setup than the 1.5 or the 2.0 NA, even the hood's shape is slightly different and...
  9. 1.5T Has anyone noticed the hood's air guide doesn't line up with the OEM intake?

Good reads! Aerodynamics is a dark art on the outside of a car, inside an engine bay it's straight up witchcraft. It's an interesting point that the 2.0L has a completely sealed intake tract. The hood has a U shaped seal that sits over the 6 vents and seals to the opening of the factory box...
  10. 1.5T Has anyone noticed the hood's air guide doesn't line up with the OEM intake?

I was installing my intercooler the other day and I decided to have a peek at how that flap on the underside of the hood seals up against the stock 1.5's intake "ram" ... Imagine my surprise when I saw this: It basically blocks a good 3/4 of the intake... So those 6 slots in the radiator...
  11. ECT over OBD?

You literally just confirmed the reason manufacturers smooth out temp readings. A drop in ECT on warmup is completely normal but service writers since at least the early 90's are sick of writing "cust states tstat is faulty" When your engine is cold, there are 2 separate "loops" of...
  12. ECT over OBD?

I’m fairly certain all analog ECT gauges have heavily damped middle ranges to the point where you basically get 3 readings from them: “cold”, “anywhere between 160 and 225”, and “lol warped deck” I mean, this has been happening since before OBDII was even used. Many cars are notorious for not...
  13. Front grille coming apart.

Just wanted to post up my fix for this issue. I went from OEM to the Pro design grille to a Seibon CF grille and finally back to stock... So yeah, my bumper's tabs were toast. After looking at it I realized a really stupid simple fix would probably work really well... Really all you need is for...
  14. PRL Motorsports 1.5T Civic Billet Intercooler Upgrade

Alright, time for an update / write up / review of this IC! First off, PRL replied to me very promptly and made sure all the box contents were present and accounted for. So then, after taking off my bumper we see... the old IC, an Agency Power unit that fits well enough and I am happy with...
  15. PRL Motorsports 1.5T Civic Billet Intercooler Upgrade

Just got it, super stoked but... small problem. FedEx was equally hyped to admire the billet endtanks that they kicked open the corner of the box and ripped all the box staples fully out. :flame: Fins are all OK, there's a small nick in one of the end tanks but it's small sub 1/8" size...
  16. PRL Motorsports 1.5T Civic Billet Intercooler Upgrade

See I was about to get all cranky that I wasn't gonna be able to put this on for another week or two but you post these pictures... And the dash numbers for the O-rings and everything!! Dude, the engineering that went into this is awesome. I'm so happy I went with PRL.
  17. Sin for the Civic, by AWE. Coming soon.

:headbang: Super stoked to see this. By modular tip designs, do you mean there will be multiple choices of tip? I kind of dig my HDMI port the more I look at it, and I'm not so sure I like most dual tip choices out there. Funny coincidence, one of the reasons I even bought my Si was because...
  18. PRL Motorsports 1.5T Civic Billet Intercooler Upgrade

Welp, PRL has been so good to me in the past (funny enough I actually found you guys when I was looking for an NPT to BSP adapter, I was putting an oil pressure gauge in my Toyota Tacoma!!) so I might as well go for it. :)
  19. 27Won Strut bar?

Based on how good the raw looks gunmetal is gonna be a winner, but maybe if you’re worried about price points offer a raw option? Kill 2 birds with one stone, people who want custom colors can get their white/red/whatever floats their boat and you can pass on the savings from skipping the powder...
  20. Acuity Accelerater Pedal Relocation Bracket unbox/install video

I drove to and from work yesterday and today with the position set to C, and let me tell you, this thing just paid for itself 100X over in terms of comfort... with the pedal moved a bit it allowed me to completely reevaluate my seating position and the overall ergonomics, and this car just got...
