Typically, If the car is really dirty, I’ll power wash then hand wash. If the car is just average dirty, I’ll foam the dry car. I’ll typically follow the wash with spraying (using the foam cannon) Griot’s Poly Gloss.
A very wet car doesn’t seen to let the foam dwell on the car which reduces...
Couple of pics from this morning.
We had snow last week and the car was pretty dirty. I power washed then foamed. A dry car is recommended for the foam (foam will run on a wet car).
As previously noted, while Griot’s Boss Foam Cannon works great and is made with quality materials, I like...
Looks great.
PPF on black keeps the paint from showing normal wear. I covered about 65% of my last black car and wish I had done the whole car.
Have fun!
Flipping generally means buying with the intent of selling for a profit. IIRC you drove your first CTR <1k miles. Now you bought two LEs that you haven’t driven and with the intent of loosing money on them?
There are lots of ways to get value out of ownership (beyond the enjoyment of driving)...
The GG Boss Foam Cannon (for a pressure washer) works really well, SS materials and their foam wash and other product bottles attach directly to the foam cannon (no transferring product to the cannon bottle, no mixing) simplifying use, especially when you are doing multiple cars and swapping...
MSRP (or less - I and others paid about invoice in Q4 2020) was more the norm pre-covid. New and used cars are getting stronger $$ since covid.
And, Honda has raised prices every year...
Oh, I'm 54. The CTR looks are a bit silly -- but are spot on for the car. Sounds like you would be...
I would rather have an Odyssey than a Model 3.
I've never (nor my wife) have owned a minivan...
But the Odyssey might be the best minivan while the Model 3 is not near the top of my best sedan/family car/crossover/boring machine (cost included) list.
More and more value threads...
Collectability, popular, desirable, value, price relative to new, relative to what I paid, low miles, high miles, modded - the list goes on. It’s all c&c bs talk. Thats ok (and can be fun) but you’re delusional if you think you know what’s going to happen or if...
Assuming your current car and new car will be registered in the same state, you should get the tax savings regardless of where the car is purchased (note that not all states allow this type of tax savings). But best to check with your state (TX).
