  1. 2020 Type-R Parts

    will do shortly thanks!
  2. What did you do to your Type R today?

What ended up happening after? I’d get all new plugs for the hell of it.

100% at times. I’ve had to dial back ac and when that wasn’t enough lower the torque demand from throttle maps. Now my max will hit about 95% peak 1 out of 10 times in my logs, and it’s very very short lived.
  4. Car seat rear facing in FK8

    Correct, statistically middle is safest.
  5. 2020 Type-R Parts

    Thanks!
  6. 2020 Type-R Parts

    Thanks, added!
  7. Please list what exhaust you have, and your experience with it.

I measured it would be possible with my (new gen) MDX with seats fully down and resting on the dash. Also Oddessy could work. New Escalade and Tahoe possible. I can take another measurement if you’d like.
  8. Custom Tuners with IC/Intake/Exhaust mods

Ive had to touch my AFM a tiny bit with the PRL.
  9. PEEFREE's Civic Type R FK8 Build thread - Track / Street

Ok. You could probably data log your car and see where the fuel pressure ended up being. You’d be the first that I heard the fuel pump dying. I mean I guess it’s not unexpected. What is your car’s usual max fuel pump duty?
  10. PEEFREE's Civic Type R FK8 Build thread - Track / Street

Simple thing to cross off the list, check plugs.
  11. Presenting the AWE Exhaust Suite for the FK8 Civic Type R. Available now!

The first and second look the same but at different angles. Please bare with me, I have the Flu. I ask because as everyone here knows I’ve put on basically every exhaust on this car (except for the AWE). Update: are you saying what is hitting is the under tray against the hangers?
  12. 2020 Type-R Parts

    Thanks, added!
  13. 2020 Type-R Parts

“In a testament to Type R engineers’ attention to detail, a small reduction in front downforce resulting from the new larger grille opening was countered by a redesigned front spoiler under the bumper, which was made slightly deeper on the left and right sides and modified to include new ribbed...
  14. PRL Motorsports 2017+ Honda Civic Type-R FK8 Turbocharger Inlet Pipe Kit

LOL where did you get that? From OEM piece? How is it attached?
  15. 2020 Type-R Parts

I just added to the list the new front spoiler aka lip or splitter. The new front grill reduced downforce enough that they had to redesign the front splitter by making it wider, and deeper. It may also be a couple mm lower. For anyone that did an aftermarket grill like the procivic, eBay, or Js...

Thought the 3% was more aggressive than 6? It’s late for me, I could be seeing things.
  17. Wanted: Coolant Hose

Looks like generic coolant hose, take it off and take it to autozone. Have them match it.
  18. Presenting the AWE Exhaust Suite for the FK8 Civic Type R. Available now!

I don’t see a before pic of where it is hitting. Also, the rubber hanger in the pic is not centered and in a “relaxed” position. Depending how much force it can slowly stretch over a long time and mess with alignment of the exhaust tips (read: saggy).
  19. 87 civic? kept pace with me for two / three gears off the line

Everyone does an engine and trans swap. They also gut it. Easy to see 230-250whp reliable NA daily power - in a super light weight car. I’m not surprised and if you ever see one again just assume it’s ready to go.
  20. Fumoto is having a 20% off sale today and tomorrow!!

I change my oil every 1500 miles or after a hard track day if I hit the temp warning. Don’t like running oil that’s been in the “hot zone”. This will help with that. Once a year before winter or (1.5 years) I plan on taking the valve off and doing a flush by having the stock drain bolt in and...
