...E85 (maxed out fuel system) Need bigger injectors, bigger fuel line and high flow high pressure fuel pump (doesn’t exist yet for the k20c2) no flex fuel kit exists for the K20c2 so can’t mix off octanes if there’s no e85 available unless I revert to 91 tune. Anything more than 6 gallons of...

considered a turbo upgrade but Dan said not necessary unless you’re going flex fuel. Stock is fine on 91. Aftermarket will push torque back in RPM range but with the clutch upgrade you’re good to go with low end torque being...

Seems like phearable might be the way to go for me then, with the tune revisions. Appreciate you! I’ll get a data log here soon and you can take a look at it. Thanks again
1-1.5 gallons does not require a flex fuel kit.
As far as an e-tune, with something as basic as a street MAF CAI as your only bolt-on, you'll be fine on the OTS tunes. I mean, sure a custom 91 tune for $500 is great but I'd try the splash of E85 setup with the OTS tune first.
And Phearable...
Thank you for the speedy reply! Just to clarify. I can run that amount of mixture without a flex fuel kit or anything?
also, in your opinion, would getting a custom tune (etune) for 91 be a better option then relying on mixing all the time? Appreciate everything you do brother
Thank you for this info, I might just go with the first option and if I like it it’ll save me a couple hundred bucks on the dyno. Will poke around to see if anyone is running the 2.5R on a similar setup to get an idea.
I promise I will not become overzealous with this “self-tuning” and become...
That's why I mentioned the Phearable "revision" tune as a possibility.
You'd buy their 2.5R flex tune. Then for an additional $99 John Vega dials it in a little better for your mod list. Not a true custom but he's a tune guru.
On the other hand, with your mod list a custom e-tune from Vega or...
as for the bov—my original intention was to just delete it, but I’ve gotten accustomed to the sound and it’s still yet to give me any significant fuel trim problems or knock. Behavior on it has been strange but nothing alarming, just usually lean stft running to about +5-10% for just a quick...
I have been pretty set on getting on a dyno, but I may have dismissed the idea of running phearable or an e-tune too quickly. I like being able to make little adjustments when i want to on the basemap, so I’m afraid that I wont be able to edit the tables/quick adjustments on phearable. Also...
...down low and in the midrange but fizzle out totally up top.
I definitely recommend going custom or at a minimum something like a Phearable flex fuel revision tune. It would be much more balanced with more power and a better top end. You really shouldn't be self tuning your car especially...
