There’s something that confused me though. They said it was on motec. Now I thought that car was on Hondata last that I saw it in the Hondata video. So when did it go onto motec?

I was talking to a friend and he said the stock fuel system should be good to 350hp which I don’t feel that I’m around before having to go with a custom setup. have any of you seen the prl IG post today, they brought out the si.

I tune it myself. I drive 99% of the time non sport mode. Only if I know the competition is heavy do I go into sport mode. But it definitely looks like the hpfp is going out. I’ve been on this boost level for some time and never had this issue.

Last night was the first time this ever happened. But it’s also really like the first time I ran my car in sport mode

I was going full tilt. Going to get some parts for the low pressure side to see if it fixes it. The fuel command was working fine but after 7 minutes it dropped out in 3-4gear

Bad news boiz. I was out doing some Mexico shenanigans last night and came across an issue. DTC: P0087. Low fuel pressure in rail. (Or something to that). So now I’m going to be ordering some parts from MAPerformance for the fuel system delivery. If that doesn’t resolve the issue then I’ll have...

Just ordered a dragy Dragy purchase option going to see if another shop can dyno my car since my main shop owner caught covid too. (Not from me)

@Rott3n_SI So after installing my new RV6 dp/fp on my car I noticed the full boost is hitting later in the rpm range now. My AFE takeda catless dp I had on my car was a 3” that tapered down to the stock diameter fp. My guess would be that the high boost and back pressure I was experiencing was...

This is the cracking I’m referring to.

Make sure to run 5w30 oil, it’s available at Honda. Also have a laptop ready to change your tune to a new tune. I don’t know what tuner your using but the w1 base map works fine on Hondata. Not sure what’s available on ktuner. I have my plugs gapped down to .020” instead of stock gap which is...

On my stock MAF I had better LTrims than with the Race MAF. But according to prl I’m better sticking with the race maf because it will allow more hp gains.
  12. Official RV6 R365 turbo Beta thread

Are you currently using a stock maf or a street maf?

Installed the rv6 dp and fp this afternoon. That freed up the turbo immensely! Third gear rolling at 3k part throttle to full throttle and got mad tire spin. Unfortunately my remark exhaust won’t be available until late February. So waiting on that but I have to schedule a dyno appointment.

Not at this time I just updated my hondata manager last night and got the okay from my doctor today that I can go outside. But on my tune I turned on increase turbo response and it dropped the spool time from mid to high 3k to pulling hard by 3500

Sorry for being ghost fellas. I’ve received my fp/dp from @RV6 thank you Rich! I’m waiting on the delivery of my new remark exhaust and then have everything installed and finally get dyno measured. I just got over covid 19 and am currently going through respiratory rehab due to the damage from...

This is happening from improper tuning. One thing Eman always had an issue with Hondata is that their base tunes run you lean which is true. This lean running is causing the excessive heat which is causing that cracking.

Something is wrong with your tune if it’s not boosting until 4500. Mine is blasting at 3200.
  18. Official RV6 R365 turbo Beta thread

Good question. They generally are beneficial but what size to use? A t25 or t28?

plugs came in today boiz! $288.00 worth but on my plug $87. Have to install some connectors on my second project car and take it to smog for the tags and hopefully I’ll have enough $$ left over to dyno Saturday

I’m waiting on my new plugs to come in then I’m heading to my local dyno to get some pulls laid down. I’ll be posting the results on here. As for some info this turbo is definitely worth the money. It’s pull is intense. I’d describe it as a drag or roll race turbo. Short tracks like autocross...
