  1. Any of you guys own a CTR on Long Island?

Damn, hope you get it sorted out. Is there any kind of vibration at higher speeds? In other words, if you never visually saw the bent wheel, would you even suspect you had an issue?
  2. Any of you guys own a CTR on Long Island?

Damned potholes. Can you just bring that wheel to the dealer to get it replaced, or do you literally need to have your whole car towed there? I've been lucky so far, drove all over the tristate area in the last 3,000 miles, knock on wood. Hope they fix it well or give you a new wheel.

So I received the companion "101A" black locks today. Same smooth finish and shade of black as the flat-faced "100" lugs.

  5. Any of you guys own a CTR on Long Island?

Nice job! Are you planning on doing the LED brake lights and rear turn signals? I did the entire kit from Typerleds and I'm pleased with how it came out. A bit much in terms of labor or the brightness? I'm not a fan of the yellow from incandescents and they didn't seem bright enough. Not a fan...
  6. Official Crystal Black Pearl Type R Picture Thread

Anybody with a 2020 or 2021, living in the tristate region, want the red-colored stock vents to complement the other red bits on the car? https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/anybody-local-to-long-island-nyc-metro-area-want-to-trade-their-2020-black-vents-for-my-red.58926/

I also ordered the engine auto start/stop...
  8. Any of you guys own a CTR on Long Island?

Still debating on whether or not to use the "HONDA" badge from my S2000 on the tailgate. Installed the trim pieces under the hood today, along with the European side markers. Btw, I hate blanks hehe... might make those buttons useful later on down the road.
  9. A good PPF & ceramic coating place on LI / NYC ?

As of now, the one I listed above seems like a good place. My boss got his Tesla done there and he seemed happy with the job. Good reviews too. Along with the fact that they seem to do both PPF and ceramic, so a good one-stop shop. I haven't done mine yet, was looking to wait until it got a...
  10. 10th Gen Auto Dimming Day Night Mirror Installation

Looks nice... do those 4 buttons illuminate with the parking/headlights? And also, does it power on every time you start up the car, or does the mirror remember your last power setting?
  11. Any of you guys own a CTR on Long Island?

I'm not really interested in the remote start, but I'm looking into installing the Viper system (security only with added sensors and the smartphone notifications).
  12. Any of you guys own a CTR on Long Island?

I've bought a ton of accessories for this car, some installed, the rest I'm waiting until the weather gets warmer. Damn Honda for making these available lol. If any of you guys are going to install any of the illumination kits, we should do a meetup and install them together.
  13. Any of you guys own a CTR on Long Island?

The good old days when I had my EM1 Civic Si and AP1 S2000. It was mostly people hanging out in parking lots, cruising, doing u-turns and looping around, back and forth, with the occasional race.
  14. Anybody local to Long Island/NYC metro area want to trade their 2020+ black vents for my red ?

So you're going all red with the newer vents? I may sell, if I had the black ones already lol.
  15. Any of you guys own a CTR on Long Island?

Thanks for the heads up, unfortunately, have been pretty busy working through the weekends these days. Lately, whenever I want to enjoy the car, I just go on a short cruise at 3 in the morning lol.

Very nice! Reds and blues are the best on cars. I'm sure your cousin is on cloud nine.
