  1. 1.5T Fuel trims with BMS intake.

I'm guessing you ordered the Factory calibration? I had trim issues with mine also, wasn't able to verify whether or not they sent the wrong MAF though, as I don't have a set of calipers to measure. They also gave me the option of sending it back to verify, but I didn't feel like going through...

BMS mentioned that they're fuel trims for the race MAF were set to +12%, so yea I'm thinking it's possible this could be the wrong housing. I also think as you said, it may be sensitive to the increased airflow.

After making some minor adjustments, and post MAF cleaning, Here's logs from today's drive to and from work. Temp was 59-60 degrees in the AM. STFT were better, hovering around +7 - +15 for the most part, although part throttle lower rpm trims were still a little high at times, in the +20 area...

I've been thinking it could be a leak too, although everything appears tight. I've also been thinking the spool up sound is slightly weird. I'll have to recheck the clamps. Is it necessary to use a socket to tighten them, cause all I used was a screw driver? Not sure why my LFTF stays at 0...

So I installed the BMS intake (Factory Calibration), with the stock Intake Hose, on my Sport Hatch Sunday evening, and have had it on since then. The Intake sounds great, and Intake Air Temps seem to be lower than with the stock box, especially when the A/C is on. With the stock box, temps...

Thanks a bunch for this thread, and all the tests, and useful information, which helped in convincing me to buy this intake. Hopefully it will be here by this weekend, or sooner. Once I get it up and running, I will post my own data findings, in relation to my E30 tuned 6MT Sport Hatch, also...
  12. Most affordable Short Ram Air intake?

I ask because they said they were going to start including it in the box.
  13. Most affordable Short Ram Air intake?

Did they include a silicone hose with yours? Also any sound clips?

What fuel was being used, and what's your location?
  15. TSP Stage 1

I don't think too many people care how MAP tunes compare, since hardly no one is running them, and for good reason. That's likely why you haven't seen any independent dynos of that product.

Search around, you'll find those results. TSP isn't tuning squat anyway, it's Derek that's done all the testing, tuning, and dynoing. You're not telling us anything we don't already know. Derek isn't fluffing/inflating any numbers. Besides, the delta is what matters, as well as the performance...
