  1. [CONFIRMED] Working wireless carplay adapter w/ Stock headunit. No Root Needed

Yes, I think it is still loading. I'm using the alternate interface that shows the app tiles, and on the Honda homescreen, the Smartphone Connection tile changes to Apple Carplay (I can't remember if the default homescreen does too). When I tap on that tile, it goes into the Carlinkit connecting...
  2. So the Accord now comes in Sonic Gray Pearl

I've had my SGP hatch for 3 years and I still love the color.
  3. How do I change out the 3rd brake light bulb?

It is LED on the hatchback, not a bulb. It's like the tailights - you can only replace the back up and turn signal bulbs in the cluster, but the LEDs for the taillights you can't. In that thread, they are talking about the sedan, which uses a regular bulb.
  4. Official SONIC GRAY PEARL Civic Thread

Up until the 2019 MY, it was only available on the Sport Touring. Added to Type R in 2019, then Sport hatch in 2020. I still don't see very many around in SGP, and I still get compliments on the colour.
  5. Splash Guards - 2017 Civic Hatchback Sport

It wasn't that bad when I installed mine. Just take your time and follow it step by step. It's much easier when you're actually doing it.
  6. [CONFIRMED] Working wireless carplay adapter w/ Stock headunit. No Root Needed

I've been using it for about a month, bought the exact same unit as the OP. The sound quality is exactly the same as wired CarPlay, as it uses wifi to pass the sound. Bluetooth is only needed for the initial handshake/connection. The lag I only find is with playing music - pressing...
  7. 2020 Civic Hatchback Sport Sonic Gray

I don't think those are the correct ones - those are for the non-Sport hatch. These are the correct ones for the Sport and Sport Touring hatch: https://www.collegehillshonda.com/product/08P00-TGG-100A.html
  8. [CONFIRMED] Working wireless carplay adapter w/ Stock headunit. No Root Needed

I saw this on Amazon, but was skeptical about its compatibility, but your review convinced me to finally pick it up. I have only fiddled around with it a bit just sitting in my car, and seems to work pretty well, although with some slight interface differences. Will really see how it...
  9. Michelin X-Ice Xi3 On Sale at Canadian Tire

It's probably because they are being discontinued for the next gen X-Ice SNOW that will be out in the fall.
  10. Suggestions for Winter tires on rims for civic hatch sport touring Montreal area

Fall is also when all the manufacturer rebates for winter tires are available, so good to wait until then.
  11. Best longevity winter tire

Gen 4 Michelin X-Ice SNOW will be out this fall.
  12. Suggestions for Winter tires on rims for civic hatch sport touring Montreal area

Believe it or not, check a Honda dealer. They often have a lowest price guarantee on tires. Another place that has good prices and selection is Wheels Direct in Scarborough.
  13. Suggestions for Winter tires on rims for civic hatch sport touring Montreal area

I run 205/60R16's on my Sport Touring in the winter. They're on steelies, but I slap on 10th gen Civic replica wheel covers. Tires are long discontinued Michelin Primacy Alpin PA3's, which I had on my 2006 Acura TSX before I traded that in for the Civic. Just lucked out that they fit on the...
  14. 91 vs 94

If it's a Sport hatchback, stick to 91. If it's a Sport sedan or coupe, you don't need anything more than 87.
  15. How many Civics have you owned?

2 - 1996 EX sedan and 2017 Sport Touring Hatch Also had a 2001 Acura 1.7 EL, only available in Canada, it was very similar to the 7th gen Civic, with slight different front and rear sheet metal, and more luxury touches in the interior. In between that and my current Civic, I had a 2006 Acura...
  16. Anyone use a dash cam?

I have an Aukey DR01, and it's a decent cam for an inexpensive cost. And it's small that I barely notice it's there. It has survived the heat and cold that we get in Toronto over the last couple of years just fine. I also bought a wiring kit, also from Aukey, which plugs into the OBDII connector...
  17. Ceramic coating- worth it?

I got Opticoat Pro professionally applied on my car, and don't regret it. I live in a condo, so I don't get to really wash my car by hand unless I go to my parents' house. Although I have used ONR in the parking garage in my condo. I just found waxing is labour intensive, and I'm no spring...
  18. How about Window Tint in Ontario?

I don't remember. I don't think they are the cheapest, but to me, their quality of workmanship and level of service is worth it.
  19. best all season floor mats?

I have Husky in my hatch, and my sister has Weathertech in her sedan. Both are great, and you really can't go wrong with either. The Weathertech sides are a little bit higher, but only covers half of the dead pedal. The Husky fully covers the dead pedal, and doesn't shift as much, as they have...
  20. How about Window Tint in Ontario?

I got Pinnacle on my Civic and my previous TSX from FX Auto in Markham. My TSX I had for 11 years and no issues with the tint - colour stable, and never peeled. These guys are very professional - they've been doing this for a very long time. Comes with lifetime warranty. My sister did have an...
