LAMIN-X fogs
Two hours, about half of which was getting to the persnickety things.
The grill bit is held in with several tabs that must be released as well as a pull pin. On earlier gen tens, it seemed a whole lot easier. Or it could just me be, nah.
Ahh, the fruits of the labour. Cleaned the muck and junk off with simple green, then some headlight compound to smooth and deeper clean. More simple green, then wet paper towel, then alcohol pads. Overprep, maybe.
Now to the film. Heat, place, stretch, peal, heat, repeat. My daughter wanted to help on the second one. Having someone else handle the heat gun was awesome.
Now back on the beast! She helped, and kinda bent up one of the tabs on the radar cover putting it back on. Was able to get it back to true and pop it in, much to her relief.
And done
