New Modder Here, How do I get bangs and pops?

Hi, I got a 17 Civic Si Coupe, only mod so far is the catted MAPerformance downpipe and muffler delete. How do I accomplish those loud bangs and pops i hear other cars doing? I'm not looking for crazy speed, I have ktuner, Maperformance CAI, and a custome quad exhaust in the plans. I just want to make bangs and pops and some decent speed without sacrificing too much reliability. How should i go about this?

Run without oil, you'll get some bangs and pops for sure ?? jk, phearable tune is the only one that will give you pops but you will want to run without a cat otherwise it will get damaged. That shouldn't be your goal though.

but i love the way they sound! But I also don't wanna sacriice my reliability. What a conundrum.

Phearable stage 1.5 with god mode for Ktuner would accomplish what your trying to achieve. It requires a Ktuner unit and a catless race downpipe.

Out of curiosity, if you have a catless downpipe and you do use god mode frequently. How would it impact longevity?

It can be hard on the turbo and exhaust valves along if abused substantially.

Somebody probably bought it, ran it and then paid a shop $5000 in repairs.
