Hey all,
Figured since I am new and always ask the questions and havent contributed, figured id start with my first project. A lot of these ideas came from the forums, just wanted to share how I went about doing it. Firstly, invest in a wedge type plastic tool. I bought the audio wedge kit from walmart. I used these to stick in the outsides of the grill and it kept me from damaging the paint. Once the clips were removed, you can reach in with your hand to get the one bottom pop out clip holding the grill. Once off, I used a dremel cutting disc to make the large cuts, then followed up the edges with a small wedge sanding attachment with the dremel to get the edges. Lastly I used 400 grit sandpaper to even it out. I hope this helps someone out. Just wanted to see if I could get cooler air to my PRL Cobra. Plus. It looks nice imho. Sorry about the large pics. Oh and Happy Fathers Day if it applies.

I have done the same on my civic by holes on the right side fog grill to match the left fog grill, also it did really help in IAT when i installed the injen CAI n you can see the filter sitting on the far right behind the fog grill.

I would say 4 to 5 hours if you do it right. I personally would not as you could see the metal frame brace if you do.

If you remove that panel, you will see what I mean.

4 to 5 hours sounds about right. I know you dont do this but what would be a decent hourly rate to get it done full mesh for both front.
Yes i agree with the crash bar...would blacking that out look good? Maybe do maybe ill make one thats solid fromnthe outer top rim and then do metal mesh below the crash bar.

Not sure brother. I have seen them online with all the vents cut out if you want to go that route. Honestly, all you need is patience, plastic tools and a dremmel
