New 2019 Civic Si in Modern Steel

Thanks for the add! Was finally able to pick up my new 2019 HFP Si sedan in Modern Steel at the end of last week after a 3 week wait for it. So far I'm loving it! Had to wait a little over 2 weeks for it to come in from transport, then almost another week for the service department to inspect over everything, and install the HFP package. Yes, I'm one of the few it seems that actually likes that package, and I got a good deal on everything in my opinion so I got it. Put 300 miles in the car in the first weekend just cruising, lol!

Added a little more red on the interior with some 1/8" welt cord. A little before and after picture.

Very nice. I want to get the floor mats and use them for car meets to spice the interior up and go with the dboy shiftz boot that i got from them that is the red BRIDE one they offer. Black, red and grey goes so well together.

Looks great! You mind sharing a link for the 1/8" cord you used? Any glue or adhesive, or just stuck in place?

Also, nice set of mods on the want list too. I have all the Acuity stuff myself- Type-R shifter assembly, base bushings, center spring, rocker arm, cable bushings and even a SSCO hybrid weighted shift knob. It's worlds better than stock and plan on doing Amsoil Synchromesh to hopefully top it all off, since I still have the 1-2 notchiness when cold.

Cord came from Ebay. Just search for 1/8" welt cord. Hundreds of auctions will pop up. It's just pushed in place between the cracks.

Nice job specially on the cord. It would be very easy to overdo it (cord), but you did it just right in my opinion.
