CVT or 6speed? Time?
CVT. You can see/hear me let off the accelerator when I hit 60 which is about 7sec from when the begins to roll. The YouTube clock(from ~0:21-0:28) indicates maybe 6.5-7sec. Nothing scientific, I was mostly trying to capture the OEM exhaust note for a before/after comparison with a possible aftermarket solution. The stock exhaust is pretty quiet, too quiet IMO...even with the "sport" exhaust. Maybe it will get a little louder after a couple thousand miles of breaking.

Go to be a CVT (as stated in the title) - Notice the drivetrain pre-load just prior to launch on a slight uphill.

I have used the adyno app on my android phone but only a few times. No idea if its accurate but its been pretty consistent. 7.67 is the best I got so far but first try I spun way too much and best run i didn't give it enough... Its nice today so maybe I'll give it another couple tries.

Never listened to my exhaust from outside but I like that sports setup. Nice car.

I thought I was a little nuts going from my 335 to a civic... But you've had an e90 m3 and a 1m and now have a civic? Get sick of the maintenance costs? Lol

lol, nahhh.... I've had zero issues with any of my M cars. The current Civic replaces the SI not the current 2011 E90 M3. The video shows one of the first launch '08 M3's I had and sold when the LCI updates came out. Always been a fan of Honda, just got really into BMW for many years, but lately BMW has lost me with newer models. I'll stick to older BMW's, Honda and a few "bucket list" cars for the near future!

A little of my long car history of where I'm coming from (not including wife's cars):

Firebird Formula V8 '84 (1st car in HS, totalled it 6mos later)
Honda Civic HB Si '90
Honda Del Sol Si '92
BMW 318ti Msport HB '99
BMW M3 E36 '97
BMW M3 E46 '05
BMW Z4 Mcoupe '07
BMW M3 Sedan '08
Mitsubishi Lancer RA '10 (Daily)
BMW 1M Coupe '12 (398 of 740)
Honda Civic Si '14 (Daily)
BMW M3 Coupe '15
BMW M3 Sedan '11 (Current)
Honda Civic Sport '17 (Current Daily)

I've got an extensive list myself but probably 75% or more are Hondas. But all older b/d series. I'd say I've never owned a k although I have (k24 in accord and crv don't count to me). Only bimmer I've had was an almost fbo pre lci e90 335 (no FMIC but meth) and I loved it. Wanted an e46 m3 but they cost too much for me nowadays and I feel like the 6MT is never for sale. Buddy has an f80 m3, awesome car imo, now I gotta try and keep up in my little L15b instead of my n54 which might have been able to...

Was the lancer ralliart already the newer style with the turbo/dct by '10? I was looking at those for a while.

Yeah newer body, dct only (SST). They came out in '09 I believe. I thought I needed the AWD more than I did. The interior was really cheap, otherwise fun daily...
