Put on the Type R shifter + Acuity Stage 2 shift kit - night and day difference!
Their install guide's are simply the best.

I did the same thing, although I first did the Acuity parts on my Si shifter and then later changed to the CTR one. So I had to take apart the console twice.

Nice! I had to take it apart twice anyways since I messed up the order of one part putting it back together ?

I've already decided that this exact mod will be my next significant upgrade...but, holy hell, your pic makes it look a lot more daunting than I thought it would be. Your entire center console is...just gone...like a bomb went off inside your car
It definitely looks the case lol why I had to snag a pic

Installed a Blackvue DR590X-2CH dashcam. Zer0 has good instructions here. However, I modified Zer0's instructions and ran the rear cable DOWN the A-pillar, then along the floor, then up the C-pillar though the waterproof wire loom (there's just enough cable). This installation will not interfere with the side airbags. I also mounted the rear cam low just below the rear spoiler. The spoiler shades the cam and reduces glare. Next step is to hide the wires for the front cam, install a polarized filter for the front, and install the Power Magic Pro.

That's a clean install. Was it difficult running the wiring for the rear cam through the floor instead of the headliner? I am going to install a dash cam myself soon and was concerned with the wiring in the headliner affecting the side air bags also.

Floor install was fairly easy. Do be patient, gentle, and have a plastic pry tool ready. I actually had installed a Thinkware first, but swapped it for the Blackvue. Doing it a second time, I started at the back with the loom first, wired the rear window (I did have to use a coat hanger to fish the wire through the hatch), then ran it forward. I used Zer0's guide as well as others for help. I saw another post here or 10th Civic, where a member used a Dremel to make holes in the Honda Sensing cover to run the wires and out the rear view mirror mount.

Do a lot of research first BEFORE you start.

Put my summer wheels on, installed new sidemarkers and the optional 2020 illuminated armrest. (although Honda says it doesn't fit on a 2018 hatchback it does fit without any problems)

And went to the exhaust shop today. Got bigger end tips. Love them.

1. Washed my car.

2. Added some Gumout Regane fuel system cleaner to my gas tank before filling up.

3. Drove the car spiritedly; then a police vehicle got behind me. I slowed down for the rest of the drive. :cool:

How bright are yours compared to the console strips? Mine aren't quite as bright, but it's only really noticeable during the day.

But the armrest height now is EXCELLENT!

Toying with doing the armrest thing. Looks good. Did you install it yourself? The wiring looks like a bit of a pain to deal with

I had the dealer install mine. Besides plugging into the normal accessory plugs, there is a relay for this one because it activates with the overhead lights. Just remember that you can't just order the LED kit. You need to order the armrest too as a separate part.

The LED kits are
BLUE = 08E16-TBA-100A (List $156, available for @ $105)
Red = 08E16-TBA-100B
The armrest is 08U89-TXM-110 (List 207, available for @ $150)
The install was about $130-$150 (Shows 3 hours)
Hope this helps!

Thank you, the part#s are indeed helpful. I read through the installation instructions and technically, I'm pretty sure I could DIY it...but between the wiring and the associated panel removal, it just looks like a hassle. I guess I just have to decide if I'd rather deal with the hassle, or the $130-$150 installation charge

Plus it is a 100% console disassembly up to the dash to get to the wiring, so yea, $130 to install was good. If you are considering the console or footwell illumination, it's also easier to do it all at once, but the price jumps a bunch.
