Have had this on our Blue Si since November 2017, at 7K kms. Now at 63k kms without any issues in the same setting, B, which we set it and left it in :)

I've been on the fence about purchasing the MSD packs too. Do you think as long as I don't clip the tabs MSD should be able to warranty the product?

Start-up sequence is pretty cool!

But how's the low beam output? I heard that these Yuanzheng lamps are pretty much at stock halogen level, or just slightly higher. Probably not at the output of the stock LED low beam housings, correct?

The output to me seems pretty good. No complaints here. The cutoff on the oem is cleaner that's for sure. Other than that I'm happy with the switch over and I can verify anyone with factory LED can get the sequential and not just those with halogen factory head lights. This was mainly the reason I did the tests.

I love the sequential haha.

Do you have a link for the honeycomb grill? Looks sick!
Unfortunately I do not. I bought it off someone local on Facebook a few months back but don't remember the person's name.

Here are 2 pics.

Left side is the sequential LED head lights and right side is oem head lights.

The driving pic toned down the light output slightly as I have a slight smoked tint over the head lights.

Happy with it.

Was bored today so went ahead and completed my door lighting swap.

I had done the two front doors a while back and finally today did the rear doors.

All work as intended and works just as the dome light would.

Shut car off and lights illuminate a through the panel..
Open door light turns on regardless of which door is open.

Close door and all lights dim as intended.

The housing I got off a TLX and added LED bulb in them.

Everyone knows I love a challenge so here we go again.

Fk8 Radium Engineering Coolant Expansion Tank retrofitted to L15

There are no manufacturer that makes expansion tanks for the L15 series platforms that I am aware of so correct me if I am wrong. The tanks are different between the Fk8 and Si.

For the Fk8 there are a couple of options and after doing some research and testing we were able to retrofit the Fk8 tank onto the Si.

We will be putting together some conversion kits @Unity Performance in order to make this happen! Stay tuned for that! We have installed the Radium Engineering tank on my red Si and also installed the Mishimoto Expansion Tank on @CanadiaegeanBlue. We will be putting some conversion kits together soon it you wish to go this route!

Some pictures of the Radium tank and a before and after

What is the advantage other than bling for an aftermarket expansion tank?

My sole purpose was to clean up the engine bay and get that plastic tank out of the engine bay.

However, I have seen a few instances where the fk8 has had ruptured plastic tanks at the seam in race applications.

I'm aware this is not for everyone but those that are interested can make this work in the non R platforms.

—------------------------
This is from Radiums page:

Because of continuous and intense heat cycling, plastic coolant tanks have a reputation of failing over time. Fortunately, the rugged 2-piece Radium Engineering replacement is CNC machined from aluminum and anodized for increased longevity. And because aluminum is a superior thermal conductor material, heat transfer is further improved. Additionally, the metal construction is robust enough to use in racing applications.

This FK8 Type-R kit directly replaces the plastic Honda tank without making permanent modifications to the vehicle. A specially designed mounting bracket secures to existing threaded holes and Radium adapter fittings interface with the factory lines. The tank functionality remains the same as the OEM cooling system.

NOTE: Laser engraving and fitting color may differ from what is shown in these pictures. Contact Radium Engineering for more information.

The Radium Engineering Coolant Expansion Tank has proved itself over the years in many applications all over the world, in race and street vehicles. The internal volume of the Radium Engineering Coolant Expansion Tank is equivalent to the OEM tank resulting in no coolant loss. The internal design features two chambers with cross-over passages at the top and bottom. The coolant tank also has an internal swirl feature aiding in deaerating the system.

NOTE: The OEM 1.3 Bar Honda pressure cap can be re-used.
