I’ve only had my Si coupe since mid March and I’ve loved every second of driving it but having kids makes the coupe a little impractical. I had the chance to jump on another rare Honda that allows me some more space, comfort and still keeps things sporty. I landed a 2018 Accord Sport 2.0T with a 6MT! Couldn’t believe it when my wife found it scrolling through classifieds online. I’ll miss my Si but this was a pretty great opportunity for someone who could use the extra space. I’m sure I won’t be done posting here even as my civic is gone because this is a pretty awesome community. It’s a bittersweet good bye but I’m excited for this next Honda.

How's the manual transmission compared to the SI? Heard from youtube it's not as good as the SI. What's your opinion.

Hope you have wheel locks and a garage.

It honestly depends what you’re looking for. It’s nowhere near the same feeling when it comes to the performance/sport aspect. It’s buttery smooth tho. The throws are a little long but I don’t see why some solid base bushings and a short shift adapter couldn’t crisp it up. I haven’t taken it on any spirited drives yet but for a daily commute the clutch and shifter are phenomenal. I can see where compared to the Si it’s not as good when talking about it as a performance shifter. I’m sure I’ll mess with upgrading it one day as I did a handful with my Si and I don’t see why it couldn’t end up with a great sporty feel.

Congrats! You have a great car and a great spouse! Not easy to be practical and still have fun. But that's why there is...Honda.

So you would be saying that the manual transmission in the Accord 2.0 is satisfying and good enough stock to enjoy for everyday use? Not a disappointment or let down?

for your average daily driver is buttery smooth and a breeze to drive. I'm personally going to add a short shift adapter and probably solid base bushings which would crisp it up nicely for spirited driving. but for stock on a daily i do like it more than i would have thought.

Great engine and finding one with an MT these days is getting harder and harder. Enjoy! BTW, that's one of the best looking colors I've seen. Congratulations.

Hey, great buy, congratulations. I own the V6 version, an Accord Sport with a 6 speed. It's interesting that HP/Ft lbs torque are almost reversed on our Accords!

The wonders of a 4 cyl turbo! those numbers are even higher on my end as I swapped my Ktuner from my Si to the Accord yesterday.

Yeah, your getting all your torque at 1900 rpm, I start hitting my power band after about 4000 rpm. So TSP or Ktuner has a tune for the 10th gen Accord? How much more hp/torque does it give you?
