What alignment specs are the people running 18x9.5 +38 at? A lot of these say there is no fender modification but is that just cutting? I prefer not to do anything that's permanent. I've read that some people have pretty bad rubbing issues with 18x9.5 +35. Lol all this is very confusing.
18x9.5 +38 should not have issue if you go with the right tire. Typically, based on our records and customer experience, 255/35/18 is the optimal tire to go with for no cutting/rubbing. Stay away from R-compound tires which tend to run a bit wider.

Wheel Specs:
Rays Volk ZE40 RW Limited 18x10 +36 Dash White/Red

F: 18x10 +33 effective (3mm spacer) w/ 265/35/18 Potenza S007A
R: 18x10 +36 w/ 265/35/18 Potenza S007A
Height: Lowered about 1.6" all around
Suspension: Fortune Auto FA500 Coilovers
Fender Mods: No Fender Roll

This is another square setup we have offered for the FK8 CTR community, 18x10 for those who wish to fit a 275. At 265 or 255, no fender roll/fender cut is necessary. We have helped procure this size to achieve Face-3 concavity for the ZE40 RW Limited (conventional sizing is 18x9.5 +46, which is flat-face).

We also have customers running our regular Volk ZE40 in 18x10 +37 (1mm more sunk than this) with a 265/35/18 with no fender roll/cut. No issues so far. (Works on both Springs + OEM height).

TE37 Saga 18x9.5 +33 5x120

F: 18x9.5 +30 effective (3mm spacer) w/ 265/35/18 Potenza S007A
R: 18x9.5 +33 5x120 w/ 265/35/18 Potenza S007A
Height: Lowered 1.6"
Suspension: Fortune Auto FA500 Coilovers
Fender Mods: No Fender Roll

Next is our square setup, 18x9.5 to achieve Face-4 concavity on the Rays Volk TE37 Saga (unprecedented in FK8 CTR fitment, all previous TE37 Saga came as Face-2 or Face-3 concave only for the CTR platform).

Many of our customers run this size and have gotten away with no fender work required to make it work (both on springs / OEM height).

Any reason for the 3mm spacer up front? Also to make sure no fender mods on this setup correct?

I’m assuming the spacer to make it more flush.

Spacer is to make it sit more flush! No fender mods if you are on springs and go with a 255/35/18 tire, as reported by our customers.

Curious about how Advan GT in 18x10 +40 with PS4S 265/35/18 would fit on stock suspension. I'm not opposed to paying a local shop to slightly mod the fenders when it comes time to lower the car.

PS4S in 265 are a good width so I'm guessing you'll be borderline rubbing and need a slightly roll. BORDERLINE. If that's the setup you want to go with just be prepared for a roll.

Any insight on running Gram lights 57DR 18x9.5 38mm offset with a 265-35 tire lowered on Eibach Pro-kit? Any potential rubbing/fender mods/camber arms required?

No issues according to our customer data/feedback, assuming it's not a 265-35-18 R-compound tire.

Rays Gramlight 57DR in 18x9.5 +38 with 265/35/18 PS4S lowered on swift springs. Definitely rubbed and rubbed on practically any bump. 255/35 Ventus v12 evo faired much better and never really rubbed.

Cut the rear metal fender and shaved some of the over fender along with doing the front tab thing and no more rubbing! Curious to see if I’ll be able to fit the ze40 18x10 +36 or +37 now that I’ve done fender mods.
