Did you use the one from the post above or another one? I am worrying that it is just for EU versions. I have US one. Will that also work?
I used what I posted.
Will it work on USDM?
I don't know. But I read in this topic earlier, someone has updated his USDM device (Hatch, or SI, I can't remember) with EU firmware successfully.
Maybe you should create a backup your recovery.rom image before update.

1. Format a pendrive to FAT32.
2.Extract the zip file contents to the root of the pendrive.
3.Plug the pendrive into the usb socket under the armrest.
4. Start Engine.
5. It's automatically find the updates and start uploading.

Here is document, with additional steps.

Yes, sure. That I know. I was doing that last year when updating to F197. 00. But that time there was just one big file. This time I see lots of folders... Was wondering if I need them also.

Anyway I'll give a try today. Thanks again

So I extracted the content to the root of pendrive, started the engine, plugged pendrive under the armrest and....nothing happened. Waited like 5 minutes.

My current firmware is F197.00. Is it supposed to automatically catch the installation file in one of the folders?

I installed this firmware on my 2016 Civic EX-T and while the install seemed to go fine, all I have now is a black screen. I still get the backup cam in reverse, and change temps with the knob, but nothing else. Any suggestions before I call the dealer?
Hello, did you extract all the folders and place them in the root or just used the swupdate file (placed in root)? Didn't work for my 2016 sedan yesterday (I used the way of placing all the folders in the root).

My FW currently is 197.00

Hi!

I placed all the folders on the root.
I got a mail form Honda Hungary, and they confirmed, this is the latest update for the HU.

Did you hold any buttons to start the update? TSB19-101 says to hold Vol-Power button to start the process after plugging the USB. Anyway, I'll try this in an hour
