An upgrade for unknow tires ?
She said she believes they are Firestones (FT140). I have those tires on my EX-L and they are mediocre. And even if she has the OEM Hankook Kinergy, for example, the G-Max is an upgrade. OEM tires generally aren't very good.

My civic came with the Hankook Kinergy GT's and dear mother of God they are noisy. As you said, they do the job for me too so I will keep them, but I look forward to putting my winter tires on lol

I replace my Hankook tires when new for better and less noisy tires. Michelin Defender.
My wife Civic's keep their Hankook. I drive both cars.

Is my car is less noisy ? just a very very little bit IMO. Is it worth many hundred $$$ expense ? Not sure. Civic is a noisy car and it is not the tires only.

Go for Perelli tires. It’s what I use on my civic. Well, I went for track capable tires mostly for safety reasons. I been in too many car wrecks and don’t wish to lose my car in a ditch when my car understeers.

Yes and did you mean Honda built a special and noisy Civic for me ?

My previous car, Corolla was more noisy.

I rent 2 cars each years when I'm out of the country , same category as Civic.
Most of them are more quiet .

Well I’m not spending more than $500-$600 on tires. I don’t just want the “ok” thread but something that’s going to last for a good while. mainly just seeing what people have on their Civic Ex models.
I Rock the Faulkin tires on my 6th gen (18", So.. Lol), about $150/e with road hazard protection. Grippy AF, but durable too. Had Pirellis on em before but forgot how much I paid.. been awhile
