Anyone have an idea on what the issue could be?

I have a Raceseng shift knob that I put in a while back, not sure if this is relevant. Recently I noticed that when I am shifting, the shifts feel off-centered especially when shifting into 3rd and there is some crunchiness when shifting into 4th. I also noticed that shifter can wiggle around a bit when in gear.

Not sure if it needs alignment or if something is wrong with the input shaft. Any thoughts?

I also noticed that if I adjust the tightness on the boot or put my OEM shift knob on it feels better, but still feels off.

Ot oh hope it’s not the gear box issue. How many miles has your car?
