He used 2x Soundstream ST4.1000D
Serves me right for not reading it thoroughly. Thank you, lol.

So that's 8 channels. I'm in such a dilemma. Get an acm-4 to do the rear doors so I can do all the time alignment and the extra channel on the (all active fronts, passive rears plus the center channel and basically leave one channel without using?) I don't know why I'm so attached to this center channel, maybe I should drop it completely and live with navigation coming through all speakers instead of just center. I don't know.

How would you mix the output so the navigation only goes to the center? If you properly tune your dsp you should be able to achieve a sound stage where the sound appears to be from your dash anyway.

From a SQ point view, a mono center stage is not a good thing. If these cars had 2 spots for 3.5"s on the dash so we can do a full active 3 way up front it would have been amazing. Running a 6 channel amp to run front active rear passive would be much simpler.

Where did you get the smart cord panel for the escort. That is super clean: I’d like to get on for mine. Thanks

I just ordered a blank and modified it to serve as the mount for the control. Same thing I did for the sub knob.

Im currently running lc2 loc to dsr-1 DSP and want to try this. The dsr-1 is a really powerful DSP but it's so hard flattening this shit signal. I'm super anxious to try this but I guess I'll have to wait for the email and then order right away. Can't see anywhere to order or back order.

Thanks. It’s a very clean install and I’m going to attempt do the same.

Assuming that this isn't a generic page (which is a huge leap to take considering the rest of the documentation's vagueness) does this page look like you could condense channels together (like driver side front tweeter + driver side front woofer)?

Vblue42, do you know if this is possible? I'm still torn about going full active, half active, or just full passive with the crossovers. Anyway, here is the diagram:

Yes. You can sum the mid and tweeter channels together.

Didn't look like they did online sales on their website so I called them. They said they stopped carrying the axxess because they didn't like it. I asked why and he said Dean? Just didnt like it... He said he recommends dsr1 which I already have, but working with a shit signal from the start sucks. I have a 1kw 4 channel amp (I'm at 4ohm so wired at 600 real RMS) for components with crossover so I too want to sum the mid and tweeter for 4 channel instead of 8. You say that's possible so I'm sold. Just need to find one to buy.
