Driving a little more lately, have around 3 weeks with the new lower vtec and have actually gotten to that rpm a few times on the turnpike. I think the new adjustments are good and I can definitely feel and use the vtec at the lower point. I almost never got up to 56/5700 before. but have used the new lower point more times in 3 weeks that I have used the old one in over 4 months.

Are you kidding me! Lol let that baby rev! These engines are rev hungry. They shine in the high rpm’s. The lowered Vtec just brings out that smooth incline to 6500 rpm

if it was up to me id put mine around 4,000 quite honestly. normal driving never goes above 3,000 and if it does i usually dont care about fuel mileage at that point. It does seem silly Honda put it way up at such a high factory rpm in the first place other than to try to skirt by the EPA requirements to get one more MPG number on their hat.

I think even 4500 would be a good spot. But for now 5300 is a big improvement

When you plug the ktuner into the OBD 2 slot, And your laptop, Open up the Ktuner software, Lock it to your ecu, Than click new tune at the top and a menu will open up and it will direct you to the tunes available
Thanks bro! That's what I did, just reading the other guys comments had me thinking maybe I didn't do the right setup. ???

Yep, same here. Done that and the only available tune was the TSP stage1.. should/can I run something different?

It’s July 4th weekend, I am glad they are not working on a holiday to resolve your incompetence.
