Wondering what is considered a "high parameter reading" on Knock Control on the 1.5t? Mine is usually 0.49-0.53

I am on the Stage 2 (21psi) map with Ktuner V1.2

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

0.49-0.53 is outstanding. You have no worries. :)

. 49 is perfect. Some tanks of gas will cause the number to fluctuate but.49 is excellent. Highest I have seen on 93 octane was around.61 which means bad tank of gas.

Man thanks guys! It's so nice being able to watch these sensors and understand what's going on with everything, especially with a base map tune

I know it's kinda been answered but I've seen my knock comtrol hit about .59-.60 while doing pulls could that just be the gas itself I run 92

Heat seems to have an effect too.

I have a long incline on my commute and my knock control is roughly 0.1- 0.15 higher when I climb it in 100F+ weather

That is not bad for 92. Some stations have better fuel. Sometimes the same station could have good fuel one week and shit fuel the next

FYI .59 is the exact starting point when you flash a KTuner tune onto these ECUs. However if you seeing it stay around .59 that is still not bad at all.

I saw it moving .58-.59. Now I have this knock control indication I will try more gas stations

when I was running 94 it never went over .54. After moving to another province and 94 not being readily available and have a reservation on my way to work selling 91 for cheaper than 87, it stays at .49 during normal driving but if I drive it real hard and go over 5500 rpms a couple times it'll go up to .72. Still comes back down over time to .49 and if I stay below 5500 it stays right at .49. Pretty hard to make the .30$+/liter worth it when I drive about 7-800 km/week... Higher octane really helps keep the car stable though. 91 is not ideal for continuous performance even tough the tune says 91+.
