I bet you it's minor enough that it would discourage people from buying it who don't have an upgraded turbo lol. Probably only a few horsepower, hard to feel that difference.
Yes. There are 2 factors to this: Air & Fuel (AFR). Guarantee the fueling will give out long before the air. A more efficient turbo that produces stronger pressure with lower boost demand.

I had an all aluminum turbo inlet pipe on my Mazda speed 3 along with the MS CAI. It was mentioned earlier ... Your turbo on stock format will spool up more quickly. This is the diamond in the rough! Is this a plastic or ceramic piece? The best part of the aluminum was maaaasnnnnn that thing would give off a wicked audible HISS ... It was very satisfying ... Like popping those pop corn dots on the plastic. Build boost ... Build ... Hiss ... Build H I S S ... It was wicked nasty ... I sure do miss it!

Yea, with the prl cobra cold air intake the hiss was already pretty loud, but this did make it a bit louder, more defined

Setup looks awesome! I painted my 27won logo and I’m just waiting for the weekend to get here so I can install. I’m FBO with W1.
I have the flex fuel kit waiting too but need to figure out how I’m gonna run that with the catch can. I can’t wait to hear & feel the difference.

Its all stock motor. Prl dp/fp, w1, flexfuel, Depo fmic, prl race sri, type r clutch, Hasport rmm and etuned by DRob on e30.
Did DRob have anything to say / any concerns about those mods on stock internals? I'm looking at a similar upgrade path ideally.
