Should have gone with the PRL Cobra
PRL Cobra is a headache for us Canadians as our larger washer fluid reservoir sits in the space where the PRL intake goes down into. Conversion kit is extra time and money, that most will avoid.

Later in the year I'm also going 27won W1, TIP, Intake with upcoming Race MAF

I have my reasons for going the way I did.

- Being in Canada I would need to do the washer bottle relocation to passenger side.

- Sometimes we get heavy rainfall and flooding in certain areas and didn't want a filter behind the bumper and risk hydrolock. Yes a lot of people say its fine but I have seen cold air intake setups go to shit over the years due to hydrolock. So why risk it.

- I like to clean my filter often and being behind the bumper is not really accessible.

- I'm not looking to make the most hp/tq numbers. I'm doing it my way and am happy with my decisions.

Yes agree a cold air is ideal for track cars but for a daily im fine good with a hybrid that doesn't need any modifications.

I can say this.

I do have the full performance upgrades from 27won. Up until about 58,000 km (before installing the TIP) i have little to no clutch slip on the stock oem clutch/flywheel.

This includes the following: (All 27won)
- Intake
- catted dp/fp
- exhaust
- intercooler
- w1 turbo
- rmm (removed for winter will be going back on soon)

Installed the TIP yesterday and in WOT I'm slipping in every gear this was just enough to put me over the top.

The motor definitely feels smoother as you have less restrictive airflow to the turbo and out the exhaust. All components are aiding in a thorough powerband.

So very soon a new clutch will be going in.

Yes the stock turbo will be restrictive and will be very minor improvement.

I'll post more pictures in my build thread.

Those of us with Race MAFs pay $392, if I remember correctly.

I have a MAP intake and thinking of buying the 27won TIP. I know it's not a direct fit but wonder if you could somehow mod the TIP to fit the MAP intake pipe? Anyone have any thoughts?
