Firestone Firehawk Indy 500: 225/40R18

I'm still new to this whole wheel/tire thing and I was wondering what tire size and what tire I should go with?

I just ordered a set of wheels @ 18x9.5 +38 (AVID1 av20) and can't decide on what tire I want. I'm not too well versed on brands I'm thinking of going 245/40/18 or 255/40/18. I may eventually lower the car with Eibach springs (months if not a year+ from now,) but within the next week or so I'll be on Si springs.

Any recommendations ?

It's that time off the year again... Trying to decide the wheels. What are your thoughts on bronze wheels with PMM car?
I have the wheel model decided, now to decide color and offset.
I can get them in matt bronze, matt black or hyper black and 18x8.5 blank, meaning custom offset 40-48.
Lowered on coilovers.
Recommendations?

I attached it using 3M double sided mounting tape, and I've had it on for about 6 months now with no issues.

Motegi MR146. 18x9.5", 45mm. 245/40's.
Running almost no negative camber in the rear now (.9°). I put the center cap gel stick-ons on the wheels to break up all that bright silver! Very happy with this set up, no rubbing with my now "rolled flat" rear fender lips.
