Hi all!
We figured that it was time that the FK8 CTR platform deserved an aggressive wheel/tire fitment thread! Would love to see the limits of stock body fitment on this chassis, and what many of you are doing to make it work! Who doesn't love a little bit of aggressive fitment? This thread can also be used to serve as a reference for those who would like to achieve the same look!
Please list the following with your post:
Wheel size (Diameter/Width/Offset)
Tire Size
Suspension mods (if applicable)
Fender Mods (if applicable)
To start off, one of the first setups we have run our demo CTR is Advan GT, 18x10.5 +35 Front, 18x9.5 +35 Rear.
Wheel Specs:
F: 18x10.5 +32 effective (3mm spacer)
R: 18x9.5 +35
F: 265/35/18 Falken RT615k Front
R: 245/40/18 Falken RT615K Rear
Suspension: Fortune Auto FA500 Coilovers
Fender Mods: No Fender Roll, Rear Fender Cut
Reason for reverse-stagger: Planning to run a 275 or 285 up front eventually, and sizing up to a 265 in the rear. We started out with 265/245 stagger to see how it would fit first. Came out perfect! No rubbing. Probably could have gotten away without cutting the rears if we kept the car lowered at 1". Pictured is the car lowered roughly 1.6" from OEM.
