Wow from 2006 lol come one man. These cars are different and transmission too. Stop being an idiot and just install the damn clutch already. You'll see what we are talking about when you actually look at the damn trans.
My clutch is in already. The right way. Been in since monday.

Broke one on the stock dmf lol ok. Has nothing to do with the Type R clutch and Type R Flywheel.

How lol by wasting everyone's time. No one installed the pilot bearing in the R Retro. No issues and some have well over 40k on it too.
Stock Si clutch/flywheel on top and Type R Retro on bottom.

Guessing your not installing the clutch yourself lol. Higher someone you trust to do the job and ask them when they open it whether you need one or not.
He failed at trying to replicate Eman's work lol

The factory flywheel does not use a bearing, a bushing is used and it does not do anything with regards to support, operation use or longevity, from experience these things usually over time fall off or heat up and seize on the input shaft and cause a ton of problems ask (spec). Also it’s the same bushing used in the older k series world which in all my experience from that platform dating back to 2007 has always been a issue as I described above.

Nope but had my professional buddies do it and says not needed either. Lol and yes that’s a quote from Eman answering other members questions. Try to find one person who had an issue installing their type r retro and I bet you won’t find one.

Just gonna say this. I'd follow the instructions from the guy who makes the component.

Hopfully you won't suffer a negative result.

Information has been presented, opinions have been formed. OP wants to follow the advice he chooses. Why the need to argue?
Because he’s wasting his own time saying that Eman doesn’t know what he’s talking about or doing when it comes to making or installing his own type r retro clutch

of course not, the upgrade and cars are too new to tell.

it will have to simmer for a few years at least.
