That's a bit higher than the target; have a log of it to share? Please email it to me, and I'm happy to review it.

The maximum commanded boost target on TSP1 is 24.5psi for just a short time. The logged pressure will go above that target on CVT cars after the system commands a "ratio" change, as ignition is retarded drastically for a moment (raising EGT).
That's exactly what I'm seeing with the rare split second (overshoot) peak of 26 psi. Mostly just when I've let off WOT.

I also saw over-boost to 26 PSI in a blip of second but the only difference is I'm using Flashpro.

Honestly, I think that's quite normal.

You all have improved ramp/spool with the TSP1, so your EWG strategy is different from factory and it will overshoot briefly on spool. This is quite normal because of the small turbo that is eager to goooooo and the reason the artificial lag was introduced from the factory :)

Agree. It only occured in millisecond not even 1 second.

Sounds make sense to me.

unfortunately I deleted all the logs, and the new logs I did not drive aggressively, the peak is 26.6 psi

I confirm the nearly 28 psi I've seen are for a second, but they scared me

Today I text the map limiting the psi to 21, I'm really curious

At my elevation (~700m/2300ft) I usually see 22.5 PSI max peak. I've seen 24.5 PSI at sea level, others users around here told me they have seen 25 or 26 peak.

I am also at sea level, surely I know differences between when it rains and when the weather is dry

The ones that have this tune on 91 gas how does it feel to you?

I'm really struggling to limit the tires to slip
Map 3 really has a lot of power
I tried to limit it 21 psi
is already better but still slips
I will have to limit it again, but then I lose the fun of the 3 TSP map

Isn't there a way to limit psi and restore psi at will without flashing?

a bit like the rev hang and the cruise button ??

You made a wrong choice by putting map 3 at 24 psi and map 2 at 16.5 there is too much difference, map 3 is not always enjoyable it goes too strong and too nervous for daily use, 16.5 are low

I am almost willing to go back to the standard maps, it is holding me back that I died at high revs

Had the TSP Stage 1 for the CVT for about a month and LOVED it, but then I went flex fuel with the hondata flex fuel tune and love that one a little more. Especially since the engine runs cooler with ethanol, it gives a piece of mind when in higher RPMs and hitting red line. The TSP tune really hits hard in the mid-range of the power curve, where as the flex fuel tune hits a bit stronger early on, mid range I feel like it’s the same if not slightly less, and had better finish around the end of the power curve. No scientific proof tho, only from real world testing and from my personal feel/experience. Overall the tsp tune was a joy to have, but love that poor mans racing fuel more

Have you considered limiting boost by gear to something like 16-17 psi in 1st and 2nd? Are you using Advanced VSA?

As far as the maps, l consistently hit about 17.5 psi on the Map 2 setup which actually is pretty decent for day to day commuting.

Just got my TSP Stage 1 tune and loaded it up in the KTuner software, but I'm not seeing where I can adjust the different maps. All I have showing in Quick Adjustments is Advanced VSA Control Strategy. Not sure if I'm missing anything else in other places.

you can only mess with Advanced vsa and I believe bbg on TSP tunes as well as the disables for O2 and such the rest of the tune is locked.
