Need new tires and just going to stick with the stock rim. The continentals are obviously a bit pricey.

Out of the Nitto NT555, Falken FK510, or even the Ventura EVO2....which ones would you guys recommend?

I don’t do any crazy driving right now just highway.

What do you want out of your tires? You mention just highway so you don't really need a high performance maximum handling tire... and I'd imagine they will never see snow. Out of what you listed, the Ventus V12 Evo and the FK510 fit the bill.

I've run a couple different Nitto tires over the years... and you get what you pay for. They offer good performance on dry pavement, but not so great in other areas. i have had a lot of good experiences with Michelin personally. I definitely try to stick with companies like Michelin that stand behind their product with a tread life warranty. The Michelin HydroEdge on my 2000 Civic LX outlasted the car, and had as much grip in rainy weather as some tires have on dry pavement.

If you bump the profile up to 35 (245/35/20) on stock rims, the Falken FK510 is highly rated at Tire Rack. And can't beat it for the price. I'd run it on mine without hesitation.

I just put the indy 500 on my car and so far like them. Still need to push them a bit. Paid $500 for a set of 4 255/35/18 installed. Can’t beat that.

Yes it was! They had a $100 off deal of the day coupon. I happen to walk in just to ask and was surprised as I was wanting pilot as3’s but the other shop wanted $1400. So here we are.

I live in Arizona so weather isn't bad. I don't need anything crazy for the track, but don't want cheap crap.

I need 20 not 18.

Pilot Sport Cup 2s are on sale in OEM fitment for $130/ea shipped. You can usually find a 5% or $20 off coupon as well.

In terms of ultimate grip and performance, you won't find anything close at this price point.
Do you have a set? Sorry noob here, just got my CTR ten days ago and two tires already have nails in them. So I’m looking for the most reasonably priced tires that aren’t a POC.

I bought 2 sets when they were even cheaper (~$110/ea). I've been running one set for the last ~3k miles and have the other set waiting for when these wear out.

I run the FK510's and I really like them. I run an aftermarket setup on 19's so I can't vouch for them in a 1:1 comparison on OEM setup. But they perform really well for a daily with my car lowered on springs and with 9.5in wide wheels. I kinda like the grip in wet conditions more than dry, but that's probably subjective.

What's the tread life on them? I'm hearing about 10k.

Do you know how they stack up against Indy 500s? Sorry, I know absolutely nothing about tires.

I would guess between 10-15k, about the same as the OEM tires.

MPSC2s are much grippier than Indy 500s - they're in a totally different class. I would put the Indy 500s in with the MPS4S, FK510, and other summer tires with treadwear ratings in the 260-360 range, whereas the MPSC2 is a track focused tire, like the RE-71R, Trofeo R, etc.

You will definitely get more miles out of them than the MPSC2 and they are likely to be at least a little bit better in the wet (although my MPSC2s have been great as a DD tire, even in the wet). If you ever want to autoX your car, MPSC2 aren't eligible if you are trying to qualify for nationals (minimum treadwear allowed is 200 and they are 170).
