I could swear I saw on here the Swifts have the same issue.
boosted180sx's Pro Kit had the same lower in the rear issue as my Sportlines did. With the Swifts his sits correctly now.:hmm: Maybe he can chime in?

The ProKit rates are exactly 10% stiffer f/r vs stock. :shrug
Not sure about why people find the handling odd with the Pro Kit, I've actually never rode in a FK8 with the Pro Kit. I'm 100% happy with my Sportlines now that the car sits level.

yeah mine is pretty level at least with the eye test. I never really took out a tape measure and measure it cause well ... my OCD might kick in LOL.
It was unacceptable for me with the eibachs with the eye test.
I didn't really mind the pro kits but it didn't drop enough for me and didn't like the rears looking lower.

My Spoons are slightly lower in the rear as well...wonder if I should give this a try.
If it is just slightly lower like mine was it will definitely fix it up.

You're absolutely right! I'm not quite sure why they haven't corrected this issue but I wasn't going to just live with it. Less than 1/4" doesn't sound like much but it totally fixed the issue for me. I'll see how the urethane isolator does long term. If it settles any I'll build a spacer out of 1/4" aluminum plate to replace the urethane. No big deal since it only takes 10-15 minutes to put one in.:headbang:
It's actually an even drop but the higher wheel wells in the front make the rake look uneven.

That could be too. Regardless mine passes my eye test now and I just got it aligned today. Every time I used to look at the car it would piss me off! Totally happy with it now!

Yep been there. I don’t prefer the “dragging ass” look myself.

I build cars for a living.....lol! "They come like that" doesn't work for some of us....no Jerry rigging anything, I just put a hard urethane isolator above the existing setup....added slightly less than 1/4" of ride height. If you had a car apart in front of you it totally would make sense. Now the car is totally level.
This is awesome imo. Reminds me of the suby sag days of my sti. A few companies marketed something similar...you should do it! It make me go back to springs vice coils...the rear sag was my problem with 35 offset.

Good work!

I've heard that Pro Kit has some strange handling characteristics due to the rear rate being softer than the front. I've really grown to like the "feel"the of the car with the Sportlines. I'm sure that the larger TE37SL's and RE71R's didn't hurt either.
I hated the prokit. The fronts felt strange to me. Guess sportline is better!

Oh Herman...check if one side in the rear is lower than the other. I noticed the driver side rear was always lower with both prokit and spoon...might be my car lol

After driving the car around for a while I noticed that the rear of the car is ever so slightly lower than the front. I reused all of the factory spring isolators on the top and the bottom when I installed them. After looking for aftermarket isolators and finding none I decided to modify some Mustang Fox body lower control arm urethane spring isolators and that worked perfectly! They were 0.2125" thick and I modified them by cutting off the locating ring so they could sit flush on top of the existing upper isolator. Now the car is sittings level! Now I can get it aligned.

Not sure if it’s the picture or just me. It looks like the highest points of the fender wells for front and rear have different heights. I was looking at stock photos and they look different as well. Maybe something to look into.
