Is anyone noticing small rattles starting to develop in random places?

I have only driven about 1500 miles, and I have noticed three rattles starting to develop. One by the driver door, one at the rear deck, and the other is something near the glovebox area (this one only happens when I hit a bump small or big). My 2013 LX had no rattles even at 60k, but I'm hoping the interior holds up well. It would be a darn shame to have such an upscale interior but it rattles like a Kia Rio a year down the road :dunno:

Is this a concern for anyone else?

2016 EX-T with 3800KM and I've definitely noticed the one by the driver door and the glove box. Unsure of what the source is but I did find out that when you leave the glove box open the subtle rattle there does stop. However, it's not ideal of course.

Yeah, it's just not something I've come to expect from a brand new car, especially Honda.

I agree, it's definitely pretty and shiny... but I think concerns are starting to creep through about whether they thought everything through thoroughly.

Yes rattles everywhere
I have one in the dash by the speedo. One by the glove box.one by the passanger door one towards the rear of the car. Maybe the cheap shitty plastic that houses the subwoofer.

Got a few. One that sounds like its coming from the headliner is biggest. Of course the subwoofer. Might have another one in the passenger door at a certain RPM.

2016 Civic Coupe LX....almost 3000 miles....no rattles that I can think of.

My music is usually too loud to notice anyway. :headbang:

I rolled up one of my black socks and shoved it between the glass and the break light and the sub rattle is like 70 percent gone.

Can you see that from outside the car? If so, I'd rather just grab a bunch of women's thongs and shove 'em back there - looks more impressive :)

Haha that's a good idea.
Yea you can see it but you can't really tell what it is because it's all rolled up.

I feel (hope) that most of these minor issues get worked out for the '17 models. We're just the lucky(?) first year adopters...

Worst case scenario we keep the car for a few years and then sell or trade it in once we have some positive equity. I doubt there will be a whole hell of a lot going wrong mechanically though. I'd much rather live with rattles than a catastrophic engine failure! *fingers crossed*knock on wood*do the reliability dance* :spaz:
