I myself haven't tried anything like that. I really think the cheaper KTuner is the way to go if you're wanting noticeable gains. It's 100% worth every penny in my opinion if you are wanting to feel an overall increase in power. With my new 245/40R18 tires I feel like i'm driving a very different car now. Obviously your budget will have an impact on what you end up going for.

Do some research and you'll see there's really only 2 affordable one's people use with the 3rd being out of most people's budgets.
  • KTuner v1.2 or V2
  • Hondata Flashpro
  • Motec Stand-Alone
You want quick/easy power? KTuner V1.2 & TSP Stage 1 Tune.

Stickers aside, pay the $450, get a KTuner and don't look back.

Well if you’re talking about those stupid $30 “race chips” from eBay that promise 100Hp gain and all that trash its fake and won’t give you anything. Your best bet is like everyone else is saying and that’s the Ktuner. But there is a race chip that is sold on here that’s around $200 for the cheapest and it says it will give you I believe like 30-40 hp gain. That hasn’t really been tested with the 10th gen by anyone other than the people selling it and I don’t think you can really belive them.

I thought about getting one before settling on a Ktuner. I don't know I've read anyone here that has used one, it says it's a 10 minute installation but it honestly looks like a huge hassle and pretty sketchy. Ktuner is far easier than I could've imagined and you can fine tune without worrying about screwing anything up, it's also just as easy to go back to stock.

Read up on Ktuner and let us know what you choose!

I wish everyone would just give the guy an honest answer. The best bang for the buck is one of the turbo intakes from eBay. Two turbos are better than one.

Get ktuner + TSP stage 1.

I believe that they are effective - like putting in body stripes and decals (specially the NOS sticker)

Sorry, I really can't resist :p

Seriously though, a lot of people here stand by KTuner and Hondata. I will really consider them after my warranty runs its course, but so far the stock 1.5T serves me well.

Having faith is the cheapest way to add power to your car. Mind power that is.

Jokes aside, either Ktuner or Hondata would be the easiest way for you to add more power into your car. DO NOT BUY those ECU chips from eBay nor the BS BOV.
