I know there’s been a few threads about this but just wanted to share my experience!

1. Bumper removal
Pretty straight forward, there’s plenty of videos floating around from @Mishimoto, @procivic and other users around the forums.

2. Fake vent removal
A little harder but just took my time to not break any of the clips. Center section must be pulled out a little to remove fake vent section. That includes the Phillips head screw and a few of the clips pushed out.

3. Installing the iJDMTOY LEDs
Cut down the screw hole about halfway down for better fitment. Installed a screw and IMO was plenty sturdy for any kind of driving. Then drilled out hole in plastic on bumper to run the wire.

4. Wiring
I have a 2017 EX Hatchback, always check if you have a different model in case of color differences. I even double checked by just keeping one connector plugged in to see which light was working. Spliced them with solder then heat shrink and black electrical tape.
Brake light harness: Green and black with black connector. OEM green to iJDMTOY red.
Taillight harness: gray and black with black connector. OEM gray to iJDMTOY green and OEM black to iJDMTOY black.
Turn signal harness:
Left side - gray and black with gray connector. OEM gray to iJDMTOY yellow.
Right side - brown and black with grey connector. OEM brown to iJDMTOY yellow.

Is there a way to have them stay solid while you indicate?

Great directions, thx! I'll be ordering mine today. Question: Do you need to remove the whole bumper or just the fake vents?

I wish they made these with clear lenses instead so we could have red tails/brake and also amber turn signals. The red turn signal is illegal in a lot of countries.

This CAN be done without removing bumper. Would I recommend? No, not if you don’t want to have a pretty good chance of ruining the clips or even worse...cracking the plastic. The middle trim piece overlaps the fake vent piece, and is held in tightly with a Phillips head screw from the backside of the bumper. If you would like pictures of this pointed out, I have them from my installation. The plastic clips on these trim pieces are a SOB and takes some time to not damage...but only if you’re OCD like me lol

Remove the whole bumper. Trust me on this. The vents have screws on them and you'll want the working space to cable manage your new LED reflectors
