Hello Fellow Enthusiasts!

It is with great pleasure that we bring you a release full of progress for the 10th gen platform! We have been very busy and very quiet with everything happening here, but there is so much in the works!

This update is live on the website and available now!

For the Si (All 17-19):

New P2565 Wastegate Disable For Use With Aftermarket Turbo Kits Like The PRL Big Turbo Kit and MAPerformance Kits. If you used the previous option, uncheck it, then check the new one instead. Cleaner full disable and keeps Sport mode fully operational. The old disable is still available in the event something else arises.

Advanced VSA Control (If you know someone with a 2.0T Accord, this is available for them too)
Tired of the VSA system overreacting? We've had this option in development for some time and it's a great tie in to the factory VSA system. Maintaining some level of throttle intervention, we have built on the ECU's control of ignition during loss of traction. Simply enable the Advanced VSA feature in Quick Enables and then select your level of balance between ignition and throttle for the Advanced VSA Control Strategy under Quick Adjustments.
Please note in a situation that calls for it, like if TPMS says your tires aren't equal or you're on a spare, Advanced VSA can be disabled by enabling Cruise Main on the dash.
Advanced VSA Control will make its way to Non-Si platforms soon, as we may change or add options based on the feedback for the Si platform.

That will likely be in the next series of ECUs to get it.
Can you give me a low-level rundown on how that process works? What makes the various ECU softwares different? Do you have to re-code these adjustments into each batch/type of ECU? It's very interesting.

You can always count on KTuner to continue killing the game. Advanced VSA definitely seems like a cool feature to supplement the tuner.

There are many different softwares, where things are compiled differently and thusly everything is in different places. That means it takes work to add features to, because it's not the same.

Are all the Advanced VSA Control Strategies going to be safe to use? Wondering if there is some pros and cons to each option. Also wondering what happens when we turn traction control off via the button with this option enabled, previously if I understood it right the VSA was still partially on even with just traction control disabled via the button.

Excessive usage with a catted setup could cause potential issues down the road.

Still partially disables intervention. Think of this as stacking on top of the existing functionality. The button still partially removes throttle intervention. Pedal dance removes throttle intervention.

Nice I am catless so I don't have to worry too much about that. Other than that it shouldn't cause a problem? I wondered this about the Hondata traction control they recently added as they mentioned that at the higher power levels it would make the car misfire. Now I can't wait to wake up and go be a hooligan with this.

Hey JR... can you elaborate on what's "excessive" usage and what the potential issues are? Thanks.

It retards timing. That's not something you want to do over and over for long periods of time. Same thing would go for anti-lag.

“Please note in a situation that calls for it, like if TPMS says your tires aren't equal or you're on a spare, Advanced VSA can be disabled by enabling Cruise Main on the dash.”

Doesn’t Cruise Main need to be on for throttle padding quick adjustments? So this would disable Adv VSA?

Thx
