I ordered this bar to tighten up the rear of my sedan but when I got it there was no hardware and no install instructions. Even the bar itself is somewhat different than what was in the picture. It looks like they updated the mounting points. I assume you must just re-use some existing chassis bolts or something.

Has anyone installed this that can guide me in the right direction?

Here's the pic from UR:

Here's the updated bar design I received (notice the ends are different):

Looks like a rear sway bar. It’s the bar under the one you pointed.

Nah this isn't the rear sway bar. That's much shorter. I think UR maybe updated the lower rear bar design. Still waiting to hear from UR Malaysia.

It would be so much better if these bars came with install instructions or at least torque specs.

I bought a 'K' brace for my Mazda3 once...could NOT get in installed for the life of me. just didn't seem to fit.
I'm assuming I had to jack it up from a specific point to 'pre-load' the chassis, but couldn't figure it out...no instructions

Guys, I have the UR strut bar installed already.;) This is definitely the lower rear cross member bar. I found out UR redesigned it so the pics on their site are still showing the old design. I just need to get it on a lift and install it. It's all good.

I just installed this part this evening and took me less than 5 minutes. It’s actually easier than the strut brace.

Loosen the 2 rear 17mm subframe bolts, torque to 75 ft lbs and it’s in. Didn’t even need to jack the rear end up.

Did you need a breaker bar or anything to loosen the subframe bolts?

Also, my car has the dual muffler setup and I'm not sure it fits as well or as easily as your LX. Last but not least any noticeable difference in handling?

I used a small breaker bar for the first one, but I realized I didn’t need it so I just used a wrench for the last one.

Honestly I think they need change the name to “rear subframe” brace rather than “rear lower” brace. I think more people would buy them if they knew what they were for.

ETA: I haven’t driven the car yet, but I’ll give you my impressions afterward. I don’t think you’ll have any issues with the dual muffler setup. There’s quite a bit of room, but using an extension might make the install easier.

IT's been almost a month since the install. Any impression updates?
