Guess I'll get this one started! Picked up my TYP Si coupe this evening. Been waiting a few years to get my hands on this car and it was worth the wait. Hope to see some more show up here!

Thanks, I think? Lol

Red H's were installed by a Honda New Model Spec Engineer. I think that makes it officially approved spec! Haha

Although the Red Badge commonly comes on Type R's, it's historically not limited to it. History of the Logo and Badge has Honda specifying that the red in the badge is for passion. Honda also uses the Red Badge to signify performance. Although different, the Type R and Si both express Honda's passion and performance in each platform. Why do you think the Si and Type R's other badges and trim are red? Passion & Performance. In my opinion, the Red Emblem should only ever go on Type R's and Si models.

I have a type r but if I had bought an si I would have probably put a red badge on ha ha. that being said I’m new to the Honda world, I’ve come from Subaru’s/Evo’s. Car looks good though!

Car looks great! I plan to pick up the exact car later this year to replace my 2015 Si. Almost got one to replace my totaled 2018 Honda Fit but I just ordered a 2019 Fit instead.

Is that the one that was in the showroom at Barrie Honda or did you order it?

I ordered this special. Barrie still has the yellow in the showroom.

Back in the day, yellow was seen a lot; not so much now. I like it!
Don't plan on sneaking up on anyone.

Really gorgeous color!! If I bought the coupe instead of the black HB Sport Manual I have, I'd personally tell the Dealer to remove the Rear Wing before I took delivery - I know it's a matter of personal taste, but that wing will not have any positive aerodynamic effect until 100+ MPH anyway..............

Too bad you can't get this color on the sedan.

BEAUTIFUL color! I think car colors are too safe, nice to see Honda bringing out some wild colors. Enjoy your new ride and tfs!
(Disclaimer: owner of a 2016 Civic Coupe in Energy Green Pearl. ;)

OK now I'm the one asking for some input & advice. My 2018 Hatchback Sport Manual is one year old and has 6300 miles on it. I'm considering looking at my Dealer's 2019 TYP Si Coupe they have on their lot. 99.9% of the time it's just ME in my car so I'm thinking there'd be no disadvantage with the coupe for me. ONLY thing .......... I still hear of Nasty REV-HANG in the new Si's just like what was programmed into the old ones, and, if so, that would be a Deal Breaker for me as my current Sport Manual has next to NONE and I'm all thru dealing with that issue as I jumped thru all the Hoops with my 2012 Si Sedan and not going to loose a good thing in my current 2018 Model.............hit me up with some Owner Experience with the new Si's - just please don't start the "you'll get used to it" mantra

Larry
