I have them OEM on my car and they are kinda fun, but the CVT prevents them from really making much of a difference. Not like the good old days when I could downshift my stick and really feel a difference. They are more like "play" shifting through 7 points on the CVT. I like them but rarely use them.
I use them everyday and not even being in S.
How else would I regulate my speed as cars in front of me slow down and there are turns?
I guess I would have to press the pedal on the left side, but then the red lights go on on my tail. So I avoid touching that pedal.

Same. I want paddles. I have a touring sedan tho. Is sedan easier installation?

I still has trouble to put one cable from inside to engine bay.

The kit I got from China is 3000 China yen(RMB), include paddle shift, cable and TCM

This is my 1st time modify my car, I'm not sure how to route a cable. What firewall mean?
Ambitious. The firewall is what separates the interior from engine bay.
