I have been wanting to get this 6+ psi flashpro tune for a while now and my worry is of course the cvt. I have read all the torture testing on the cvt with no issues. But im looking at long term torture. Its been a while now since the tune has been out and I am curious to know if there has been any cvt failures with the flashpro tune and the 1.5T cvt since it came out ?
I am sure this question gets asked all the time but i just want some reassurance before i basically void my warranty which is the big concern. if all goes well and i get the tune and make it another 23k miles and nothing bad happens then great but me being me and my luck ill shred the cvt belt on the first pull. Now the smart thing would be to wait on the tune until my warranty is over but whats the fun in that besides i have only put 12k miles on the car in almost 2 years so it will be awhile till i hit 35k. i dont mind taking risks but if i take a risk i want to be 100% sure of my decision so i cant say i did not research it enough if something goes wrong and ill just own the consequences.
