The article says "The Civic Coupe and Si are produced in Ontario, Canada, with its turbocharged engine produced exclusively at the Anna, Ohio engine plant using domestic and globally-sourced parts." It also says "...a powerful 205-horsepower, 1.5-liter, direct injected and turbocharged in-line 4-cylinder engine with VTEC® valvetrain, a slick-shifting 6-speed manual transmission..." Has to be a typo; these engines aren't VTEC if I remember correctly.

@zroger73 - the EPB switch now lights up when engaged. There's now a thin LED strip on the end.

It also says "an updated Display Audio system with a new interface that includes a volume knob and physical buttons for key functions, and improved Bluetooth® integration with easier device pairing." That's exciting news; sounds like some of the guts may be changed. I'm calling Honda and asking if it's compatible with the 2017 Civic Si.

How exciting is it, if its the same head unit that the regular civic got this month? lol They just brought it over to SI.

Correct. Accord only.
I do not believe that is the light, see below from the site:

I am forced to make the jump! I'm sold on bigger cupholders and the added physical knob for the days when I'm driving and pulling the stranger with my left hand. How dare anyone utilize the volume buttons on the steering wheel!

I'm surprised it doesn't get Sensing. The Accords with 6MT have it, and the less expensive Civic trims have it, so I thought the Si (and Type R) would get it this year in the U.S. I'm disappointed, partly because getting advanced safety tech provides some justification for ditching my 2010 TSX, which is running absolutely perfectly. I really don't want a car as large as the Accord, or the Sport 2.0T with 6MT might work. (But of course I really want a Type R...)

Go R and don’t look back! You’ll thank me later.

I wonder why the cruise control on/off button moved from the middle of those 3 button locations to the slot closest to the airbag.
Look at the right side of the wheel under the Cruise/RES/SET circular button

It really is a shame that they didn't at least slightly tweak the front fascia. It looks alright in pictures but in person I just cannot stand the fake vents. If they were smaller, I'd be a little more okay with it but they are just too big.

Those fake vents should really have openings on both sides for cooling or whatever. The right side has a horn opening, but the left side should have an identical hole for the engine cooling. This way they wouldnt look so fake and would actually serve a purpose. But their large size is perfect in my opinion. The car looks fierce coming head on with those large "vents"
