Awesome. Any data available on the power boost from this?
Haven't had a chance to dyno yet. We are expecting a few HP less than the catless version.

Shoot us a email and we can work something out.

I know that the bottom heat shield won’t fit, is that a cause of concern for us????

Should we order your ceramic version?

In other words, by not having a lower heat shield are we prone to any damage?

Thanks RV6

Not really a concern. The lower heat shield only covers half of the converter anyways. The upper heat shield is more important since the intake path passes directly over it. Nothing will be damaged from not running the heat shield.

Ceramic coating does a excellent job at keeping the radiant heat down in your engine bay. It is not required since our parts are made of stainless and will not rust.

@RV6
What is the benefit of getting the front pipe in addition to the downpipe with the stock Si exhaust?

To be honest there really isn't much of a advantage of getting the front pipe with the stock exhaust due to bottle necking. However our front pipe will bolt up to the stock exhaust and allow for future upgrades to a larger exhaust. It is also cheaper to buy the frontpipe/downpipe together opposed to separately.

Do you still have any catted downpipes available?

I’m going to order one next week.

Would the material used and welds be able to withstand the high temps if I had one sent to Swaintech to get coated? Got this done with my RSX's Comptech shorty header and it significantly reduced engine bay temperatures.

Also, what gains are expected from an SI without any ECU tunes (stock)?

Yes, we currently have them in stock ready to go.

We offer ceramic coating however you are welcome to send the part out to be coated on your own. The part should be able to withstand any coatings.

I would expect around 7-10WHP and 7-10WTQ on a stock tune running 87.

Any info on what brand and model number cat was used for the rv6 catted. Trying to determine if I should go catted or catless.

The cat is a custom made part. It is 300CPSI and made of high temperature Feceralloy foil. Much more robust than anything available off the shelf.
