Sorry for the late reply! Here you go: https://www.ebay.com/itm/5M-Car-Fle...or-Blue-New-/122515026335?hash=item1c8676f19f@pharonyk Got a link to that blue trim? Any interior pics?
Looks so good!Sorry for the late reply! Here you go: https://www.ebay.com/itm/5M-Car-Fle...or-Blue-New-/122515026335?hash=item1c8676f19f
Just be aware that you are ordering the color Blue and not Icy Blue. Sometimes the Chinese Seller mislabels it or sends the wrong color but you could always work something out with them (like asking for a refund).
Does look good, especially in daylight.Looks so good!
Thank you! I'm really tempted to do the same setup with that trim as an accent.Sorry for the late reply! Here you go: https://www.ebay.com/itm/5M-Car-Fle...or-Blue-New-/122515026335?hash=item1c8676f19f

Thanks! I'm aware about Red lights being recommended for safety; however, my LED strip has different brightness modes which I have turned up just for that photo. In reality, they are very dim on the lowest brightness level and don't affect my night-vision nor impact my driving.Does look good, especially in daylight.
Not so sure about BLUE light at night. It's the worse color for your night Vision.
Red being the least detrimental.
This is why Cockpit Lighting in Aircraft is always RED.
However, if you Fit Super Bright LED headlight (especially if they FLOOD everything out there in front of you) I guess it really does not matter, as your Night Vision will be non-existent, as all the oncoming traffic is Flash You, as they get blinded as well !!
You're very welcome! I'm glad I could be an influence.Thank you! I'm really tempted to do the same setup with that trim as an accent.
FWIW, I also run my footwell LEDs on blue to match the exterior color. Opt 7, love them! I think we have the same cup holder liners too.
I have the Opt7 Auro Smart-LED Strip kit (4 strips), purchased on Amazon here. I installed the kit using guidance found on here the CivicX forums and also on YouTube. Warning about the YouTube video - it has some good camera angles and lighting (which is why I found it helpful) but do not puncture your seats. It's not necessary. The method of ziptie-to-frame under the rear seats works just fine. Oh, and I used the fuse-tap that came with the Opt7 kit, hooking up to the ACC fuse. You're very welcome! I'm glad I could be an influence.
What is the name of your Opt 7 interior light kit? I'm simply using a cheap LED strip that cost me about $15 off amazon and it works great (with some black electrical tape over LEDs I want covered as it curves underneath the dashboard near the 12V outlet). As a side note, I also have the cup holder liners for the back seats now since the seller didn't provide those last year.
