My Civic EX-L -STERLING-

Hello,

I'm Kyle and I am really enjoying my new Civic EX-L in Cosmic Blue. I recently leased a 2015 Civic Si but didn't like it all that much aside from the manual. My dealership gave me a great deal on this 2016 and on my trade so now I am here! I am loving the style, power, and efficiency. I look forward to customizing this car as I go. I used to have a 2008 Pontiac G5 and spent years customizing it and having fun. I'll be using this thread as my progress thread. Much like the one I had on the site for my former G5. Here are some pics of my new Civic. I have added exhaust tips, replaced my interior lights with LEDs, got all weather floor mats and removed the dealer decal. So far I am planning on tinting the windows, replacing the exhaust, and getting a short ram intake. I'll just patiently wait until the aftermarket catches up.

I have never had a car get this good of gas mileage and so effortlessly at that. I am really loving this car. I also plan to replace the orange side marker lights with clear ones when they become available. I also look forward to seeing if the touring's headlights will be able to be swapped on the lower trims at some point. I really like the look of them.

Did you add walmart mufflers on or any other type?
I wanted to hear the sound difference if you can..

I just got some tips at auto zone and put them on for now. Once the aftermarket comes up with a good axle back exhaust, I'll change to that. There is no sound difference with these. It's just cosmetic.

Just had the techs at my dealership tell me the wiring for the Touring headlights are too different from my EX-T to swap them in. At $400+ a side, maybe that's a good thing!

I can see that. I can only hope that in the next year or 2 someone comes up with an adapter harness to do it. By then there may be some headlights on ebay from wrecks for a decent price.

Well some jerk dinged my rear passenger side door today. This only happens to me when I get a car I actually like. This sucks, and of course no note.

Luckily my dealership gives each customer a packet of coupons and such for each new car. I will be getting this repaired on friday for free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks like it never got a ding in the first place, showroom condition again!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rydell Collision Center does great work. I'm glad I have my car looking great again!!!
