Wouldn't a boost controller help that
With a MBC you set it and that is it. If you set it to 20#, it will be 20# regardless of the drive mode, gear, RPM, etc.

An electronic controller could take care of that, I am hopeful that PRL has that under control.

From personal experience of using a MBC and 3 port EBCS on both a 2002 WRX and a 2011 EVOX...

MBC
+builds boost faster
-prone to spiking

EBCS
-builds boost slower
+not prone to spiking

But.... the electronic wastegate control seems like it is a better option even compared to an EBCS. In any case, the tuner should have other methods available for identifying and correcting an overboost condition.
umm a EBCS actually builds boost faster as it can hold the wastegate valve down with using the secondary top port on the wastegate. if its going to spike , it's going to spike even if you have a ebcs

Probably change the way ktuner tunes the car then right in their programming since now you can manually up and lower boost
Well the good thing is, we know KTuner is ready since they went through the whole r&d process with them and will have a tune ready when it releases!

does anyone know if the fx300 would be enough to hold the base turbo kit on 91 octane? I called CM and they said the clutch is rated at about 325tq.

Should just get fx350 or 400. And if you did call them and they told you the fx300 is only rated to 325 wtq then I feel bad for those owners

The fx400 doesn't last that long according to the internet and I'm not in the market to shell out a grand every year or half a hear for clutch replacements. Fx350 apparently had a lot of issues and the fx300 lasts long and holds ad much as the fx350 apparently.

Well not according to the guy who asked Clutchmasters and they said the fx300 is rated at 325wtq while they said the fx350 holds 390wtq

Just ordered my fx350 and single mass flywheel :) and not a moment too soon. Stock clutch + bolt ons and water meth= no more stock clutch.

Can't wait to add a turbo kit to my setup!

Would you be willing to do a review of the difference between the flywheels, once you've had some time with your Single Mass Flywheel? I'm really curious how much quicker the rev's drop!
