how did you get the plasti dip to not peel up when removing the tape?
Basically you have to do multiple coats fast and get all the tape off immediately while while the dip is still wet.
So first coat would be kinda light just covering the area, still see some color through. Start at one end work to other, then immediately back for second coat. Second coat should generously cover paint. Third coat same method, thick application for durability. Check and finish any spots then immediately pull tape. I'm sure there's a vid somewhere.

I messed up my first try cause I timed like 1 minute between coats. After the 3rd coat the 1st one was dry enough to start peeling. So just don't wait and it will be clean.
If you want, practice some basic lines to get the feel so you don't have to re-tape and sheet a big section like I did lol

Today I just ordered my KTuner ECU Flash and some yellow LED fog lights!
I'm super excited for them to come in the mail.

Looks really nice, but I've got to wonder how well (and for how long) will that hold up under the cold/hot weather, and with various little things hitting it on the highway/at high speeds...?
I've had this same wrap on my 2015 si. Quality on this particular was great. It lasted for over 2 years and had to take it off when I traded in for my current 2017 si. This protects from small debris fine, but nothing will protect your car going 70 and a rock happens to fall your way.

This wrap didn't fade in the Texas sun. Taking it off was a breeze and the paint was in mint condition. One thing to note, don't let bird poop sit too long on the wrap, it'll leave a slight stain. Same goes for your paint

Took off the left muffler on my 17 ext sedan for a little bit more sound. I was half expecting it to sound like crap lol. However I was surprised on how it sounded! It does drone from 1800-2700 rpm. But nothing like some aftermarket exhausts.

All you need is a 14mm socket and some wd-40. Didn’t even need to jack the car up. Spray both nuts on the exhaust and the rubber hanger. A flathead screwdriver might help you get the exhuast out of the rubber hanger.

Not bad for 15 min and a little elbow grease. I drove it down the boulevard and it actually got some looks just cruising. I admit I had a slight giggle when I first started down the road. It’s got a little bit of personality now!:headbang:

I took mine into the body shop the week before last and had them address the wind noise from the previous door replacement. I swear, when I bought this car it was dead silent (no wind noise) in the driver's seat above 45 mph. Ever since the door was replaced, it has been noisy. I asked them to drive it, address the issue and then call me. They called me and said it was fixed; they said they adjusted the door. I left for a 700 mile trip to Hilton Head, SC and back. It was better, but not like new. I don't think they drove it, just did some tweaking. I am going to have to call them and set up another appointment. It shouldn't be this hard to get a problem fixed.

I think I had read somewhere on here that Honda had released an updated door seal for the '17 Civic. Does that ring a bell with anyone? Is it possible they bought an older version of the door seal?

Today I installed the vinyl chrome delete kit I bought from eBay. It came in a thick plastic tube so it wasn’t damaged in shipping. It was a little tricky at first but took my wife and I about an hour to install and for under $50 I highly recommend.

Did this last week. My steering wheel is now misaligned and is turned to the left a couple inches but still feels great!
