When I got the FK8 I was always disappointed with the way Honda has done the pedals it just looks like an after thought:
The footrest/dead pedal on my FN2 matched the pedals and looked integrated and part of the car. The more I used the FK8 the more the horrible plastic grated on me. So after a bit of searching I managed to find someone on etsy autoCOVR that does loads of things for cars laser cur from stainless steel. He did one for the left hand drive version of the FK8 https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/5242...home_active_28, so I contacted him and with a bit of work I supplied him details for the right hand drive and he has produced one for me
It took all of 5 minutes to fit. Just clean the old pedal, remove the cover off the adhesive on the back and push it in place. The Type-R logo is a very close match to the OEM one:
I've been using it for a week or so now. It has not budged 1 mm and looks loads better.
autoCOVR were really helpful and they do loads of other stuff for Honda and other cars and the quality is spot on. They are based in Poland, but delivery only took around a week to the UK. They are launching a web site for sales autoCOVR | quality crafted automotive steel covers at hopefully slightly better rates than their etsy shop shop keep an eye out there.
BTW: I have no personal or commercial ties with autoCOVR, but I was so pleased with what they did for me, the quality of the workmanship and their helpfulness that I though I would share my experience here.
