When I got the FK8 I was always disappointed with the way Honda has done the pedals it just looks like an after thought:

The footrest/dead pedal on my FN2 matched the pedals and looked integrated and part of the car. The more I used the FK8 the more the horrible plastic grated on me. So after a bit of searching I managed to find someone on etsy autoCOVR that does loads of things for cars laser cur from stainless steel. He did one for the left hand drive version of the FK8 https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/5242...home_active_28, so I contacted him and with a bit of work I supplied him details for the right hand drive and he has produced one for me

It took all of 5 minutes to fit. Just clean the old pedal, remove the cover off the adhesive on the back and push it in place. The Type-R logo is a very close match to the OEM one:

I've been using it for a week or so now. It has not budged 1 mm and looks loads better.

autoCOVR were really helpful and they do loads of other stuff for Honda and other cars and the quality is spot on. They are based in Poland, but delivery only took around a week to the UK. They are launching a web site for sales autoCOVR | quality crafted automotive steel covers at hopefully slightly better rates than their etsy shop shop keep an eye out there.

BTW: I have no personal or commercial ties with autoCOVR, but I was so pleased with what they did for me, the quality of the workmanship and their helpfulness that I though I would share my experience here.

I've just had an email from Mat at autoCOVR. He has very kindly offered a 15% Etsy shop discount code for CivicX members.
I don't know how long the code will be active so if you want something don't delay too long. The code is:

CTR15

It should, he also offers ones with the H logo or the Si logo.

Just ordered mine for my Sport Touring Hatchback. I’ll post a pic when it arrives. Whether you order from their new website, or Etsy and apply the 15% off it comes to the same price.

I have one installed on my Si, great product and matches the Si's oem sport pedals nicely.

I bought one of these and it's nice but I had to buy 3M tape to attach because the sellers tape was defective.

OK, so I got mine attached in my EX-L sedan. Like I said in the other post, the thin "carpet tape" that the seller used was pretty weak. It's on there great with the 3M tape I used though:

I received mine as well days ago, the CNC cuts are very good, I will be installing it after I run the power , RCA, and remote wires for the amp

Yes, the finish is nicely done. The strokes on the aluminium brush are different, but it's very close and you won't notice a thing once installed.

Here are some closeup pictures on the dead pedal with the OEM Honda Access pedals. By the way, this is a RHD dead pedal for those who are wondering.
