Hi, im driving civic coupe 2017 lx 2.0 manual. Here is an issue list.

-Siren like noise whenever coming to stop (heater on)

-humming noise when heater on or accerelating car

-little jerky movement at low-mid speed.
Jerky in 1st gear, supposedly but still jerkier than other manual cars
When releasing gas pedal (engine break kicked in) or pressing gas slowly, car jerks bit through all gears except 6th.

Anyone has experienced those issues?
My family is driving four hondas but none of them has that kind of issues.

Few questions:
When did you get the car?
How many miles on odometer?
Have you had a dead battery recently?
When was the last time you drove for more the 30min? More than 1hr?

No HVAC issues at all, none-sie. Everything else sounds like my CVT, lol. But I love driving this thing in urban traffic and it is a highway king (you know, the answer to the proverbial, Is it fast?, you know) but I do mostly city, sadly.

You cannot hear anything from heater? Mine might have an real issue.

Driving impression is not very smooth when accerelating and braking. It is fluctuating or bit jerky. In highway, it is ok.

After the battery in my CRV died I had a very loud hum coming from the heater. Driving was jerky due to the increased load on the engine from the dead battery. It went away after the battery was fully charged (took over an hour). However it is unlikely that the cause of your issues are the same.

One other possibility - turn the car on without starting the engine. If the engine light flashes 5 times the emissions diagnostic have not been set. See "Testing of Readiness Codes" at the end of the owners manual.

Or maybe that is just how the car is. 1st and 2nd gear in my V6 accord would jerk when I took my foot off the throttle. It took practice drive smoothly. Had to take my foot off very gently.

I've got a 2016 LX mt coupe 2.0 and it doesn't do any of these things. I do hear the engine fan spooling up all the time when the heater is on in the car, but it doesn't bother me. My only complaint is notchy shifting, but I guess I'll just have to live with it.

Take it in to the dealer service department and tell them.

Thank you all.
Siren sound seems an issue. Jerky driving can be ignorable but feels still bit jerkier than fiesta st or 86 which i have driven before.

I started hearing rattling from trunk and dashboard (steering wheel?) today, haha. This one also seen in other posts.
