So, since Honda doesn't yet offer an OEM solution for mud flaps, and our tires kick up so much gravel that our paint is in peril, I decided to take matters into my own hands and install my own mud flaps!

BTW, my paint was already starting to show some damage from gravel hitting it, so this is HIGHLY recommended:

Yep, drove for about an hour on local PA backroads, in the rain, and they stayed right on, no issues at all (so far). I think it's a decent setup

I’ve been putting my mud flap install off for so long time to get mines installed as well. Thanks for the vid. I was debating on how to mount the rear ones with just a single screw or add another one into the bottom lip. Hope the double sided tape holds up.

Yea I'll let everyone know for sure how they are holding up, I'll mention it in a live video one of these weekends (and post up here too)

Very curious how the rears hold up with the tape after long rides at hwy speed, car washes and cold weather. Please report back after a couple months.

I fabricated the OEM ones for the front. It took a lot of trimming and shaving of the mud guard but I got it to work. There was no chance of the rears fitting so I only have them installed on front. Thankfully with all of our aero package and black trim around the car the mud guards blend in fine and you really don't notice them. I have Xpel PPF on the car also so my rear bumper is covered even without the flap back there so I'm not super concerned with that area, but if yours hold up well with the tape I might consider trying them.

@RP2000R You can't buy just the fronts. Have to buy entire set of mud guards which sucks. Roughly $70.

Hey @dominican how have these held up? I want to install mine the least invasive way I can. I like your approach but need to know if 1 screw and some 3m will last a Canadian winter.

Good time to update this thread! The front ones, the ones that do the great majority of the protecting, stayed on perfectly and are doing a great job. The rear ones came off after backing up into snowbanks. If you never hit reverse on snowbanks, they will last. Otherwise, they will not.
