Was it just rubbing in the rear?
To my eyeball, it looks like the rear are sliiiiiiightly out more than the front.
I wonder if 20mm spacers in the front and 10mm spacers in the rear would avoid the need to roll the fenders?

On a related note - I wonder why cars don't come this way from the factory? It's not as though there would be rubbing issues at stock height, even if you bottomed out the car, say, jumping a set of train tracks. (then you'd have other problems lol)

It looks so much cleaner, just simply looks more "correct", in a way real luxury cars look trim and athletic. Makes you say "That car looks RIGHT!" in a subconscious, can't-quite-place-it way... I'd think that would be good for sales!
Yes, to my surprise it rubbed quite a bit. The wife wasnt having any of that! lol. It would have simply be taken care of with more camber, but i chose to stand the tires up more for economical purposes. I do know TOE is the reason for tire wear..just keeping it "Mellow". =)

I agree...i think cars look so much better looking flushed..but...they don't, so after market companies can benefit from this.

Keeping the wife happy is the only way to keep a build mellow - trust me. :D

I i have been hitting up some manufacturers and fabrication shops in OC looking to make a straight through 3" exhaust for my Sport Touring being that there really isn't much out there for my car. One manufacturer pretty much blew me off after i had had good dealings with him in the past. I guess it's his loss. I will more than likely go to either McKinney Motorsports or Top End Performance in North Hollywood to have my exhaust made. They have been fabbing up custom parts for my cars for over 20 years. Just a far drive from Anaheim. I will keep you all posted with the progress. The idea is to have 3' mandrel bent stainless steel piping and resonator all the way to a single straight through muffler. I haven't decided to go dual tips of just stick with a single but that is the least of my worries. As soon as i have it made im going to have it ceramic coated as i have done with my 92 SER. So for now, im enjoying the springs in the car taking onramps a little faster than normal.

There definitely is a big difference between having spacers and none. Glad i got them.
What spacers did you use? I bought a set of 20mm's for my Si sedan but the stock studs are too long so they wouldn't work. Wasn't sure if yours worked right of the box or if you had to modify the studs at all?

Mine do not fit well either. My studs are fine..but the low-profile lugs are hitting my wheels. There is a guy I found he will make me my own custom spacers. I'll post up his info when I find it. I'm gonna have him make me some.

I would love to know. The stubs extend past the spacer on the ones I have so that's a no go.

I know there's two kinds of spacers...

1) Spacers that bolt to your factory lugs, and then have their own second set of lugs for your wheels to bolt to, and
2) Spacers that just have holes - your factory lugs go through them and then the wheel still bolts to your factory lugs.

I believe in both cases you want to replace the factory studs: for
1) the length is the concern. You don't want the factory studs extending past the new mounting surface - and you need the right hardware too so it doesn't either.
2) strength is the concern. The weight of the car is now pushing on the stud further out.

If you have the guy make custom spacers - maybe you could do 10mm in the back, since they seem to have a wider track naturally? And then maybe you don't need the type 1 spacers back there? And then a 20mm up front - I bet that would even things out!

EDIT: Oh wait... Do they stick out further back there because your wheels are actually setting on the lugs holding them on - the lugs are preventing the wheels from resting on the intended spacer surface? Yikes if so... Wherever you got those spacers from should be able to offer solutions for that problem! ...no?

The Studs aren't the issue..the lugs are..or you can say the channels of the rims are not a large enough diameter.

So I test fitted some wheels today.
Volk GTF 19x8.5 +35 19x9.5 +36
I probably should not have done it. It's not even the style of wheel I like..but dang..took me by surprise. Heck..even the wife liked it. Sigh..rims were not in the plans until next year. Lol..when you are a car lover..i guess you can't hold back.

New Spacers!
So i originally purchased spacers to accommodate my Flush Urges. Although they worked fine, and was a reasonable price, i realized i will be tracking my car and although the material of my current spacers are fine for street use(cast aluminum), they are rather heavy and needed something lighter for less unsprung weight and stronger material. (6061 Aluminum)

Enter 3 amigos Wheels and Tires.

I found these guys on Facebook. Their Welder/machinist posted about wheel repair and machining and asked about customer wheel spacers and he said they could make any size i wanted while i waited. Yes, they make these spacers in house! SO my specs for me was 5x114 pcd 64.1 bore 22mm front and 5x114 pcd 64.1 bore 20mm. Mind you, i am still on the stock Sport Touring wheels and the rears do have a slightly wider stance hens the extra 2mm width up front.

Here is the process to how they made my spacers.
1. They start out with a huge 6061 aluminum cylinder.

2. They then cut it up with a saw to your desired thickness.

3.They then drill out your center bore (64.1) then your bolt patter (5x114)

5. As you can see, these come out pretty nice so far.

6. Now to bevel the holes then drill out the holes for the studs.

I’m looking to do a very similar setup. I’m on the eibach prokit and have been searching for spacers. The ones I’ve seen all have the same issues with the rear track being slightly but noticeably wider. I contacted the 3 amigos cuz they’re in my neighborhood and they were super genuine. Definitely going to go with these guys but am wondering if I’ll have issues with rubbing. I don’t have a camber kit atm. I’m sitting right around -2 in the rear. Do you have any pictures with your custom spacer setup and do you think the extra 2mm offset in the front would cause any rubbing if you didn’t grind your fenders?

If you dont have the rear camber arms you shouldn't rub @ 2*, although i still recommend having at least the rears grinded when you take away rear camber.

Did you clear coat or paint your spacers to prevent corrosion?
